Who went on pitch?

Sorry nath, in my opinion you shouldn't have.

Problems with the pitch invasion last night:
1) We've achieved little. We going to the final, but our record speaks for itself. Nothing worthy of a pitch invasion at this stage.
2) Supporters were all over our players. We've still got a sodding massive game to play. What's the point in risking an injury to any of them?
3) Goading the Stevenage supporters... really?

I didn't go near any of the players or goad any stevenage fans.
I went on to celebrate the last home game of the season, in which has been quite a successful season.
I admit those who went on the second time where idiots and i'd rather cheer from my seat.
But celebrating getting to wembly with a few lads i know, seemed innocent and just a bit of fun

>We've just beaten a team that wasn't even in existence 40 years ago in the final few minutes to get into a 3rd tier play off final...
am i missing something here but have we won anything else lately??

Which is fair enough, but I'm afraid not everyone was quite so restrained and made us look like a right bunch of twunts.... not to mention risking our playoff final chances.

It's only Half Time. We've achieved nothing yet. Finished 3rd in Division 3, that's nothing to celebrate for.

People running around in circles performing rolly polly's. Embarrassing really

Those doing rolly pollys made themselves look idiots. I went onto the pitch and had a picture infront of the kop

Well those people can only be describes as neanderthals.

Nope.. Furthermore reason to not embarrass the team on worldwide television.

Honest question as I don't know the answer... Did Man City fans invade the pitch?

Yes they did.

I actually think the number of pitch invasions recently contributed to ours last night.

did anyone get hurt??
just out of interest, has any player ever been injured by pitch invasions? or was it just hype from that idiot announcer (whose whole record collection seems to be crap from the Oxfam 80's box.. i know i got most of them myself)

I think Wednesday invading the pitch was slightly embarassing too. They've just gone into the 2nd tier.

God I was made to eat my words last night, all the pigs were in full force with the grief I gave them

Was there no risk from supporters jumping all over our players? There's footage of Porter being jumped on by 2 or 3 players, getting a smack to the back of the head and nearly falling to the floor. Was that without risk?

Sorry, it's fucking idiotic.

There was a lad, must have been late teens/early twenties, about 6ft with a beige shirt on who set off from the Streetwise corner, corner flag aloft in both hands at full stretch, at a pace that would have left Usain Bolt eating dust.

I'm pretty sure he's was down the tunnel and halfway up Cherry Street before the ref had finished blowing the whistle. I've never seen anyone quite so happy in all my life.

probably but noone got injured so i can't see what the piety is all about

But it COULD have. I don't understand why this is so difficult. While there's a risk there, why take it?

And for what it's worth, I've no problem at all with an invasion after the players have gone off and assuming there's no goading of the oppo.

Funniest moment was Doyle running around at the final whistle. A fan ran up to him and got knocked clean out.

and now we've got to go to f**king wembley.. a pisspot shithole in the middle of an industrial estate.. five quid for half a shit lager (and i don't even drink) fifty quid for a ticket and fifty quid petrol.. no wonder i didn't run on the pitch :D

Absolutely. Monkey See, Monkey Do.

Actually I didn't have much of a problem with it, but like others have said - it's only a playoff semi final win - we've achieved nothing yet.

Jesus Christ, lets celebrate the little bit of joy we have you miserable chuffs.

I remember having a pitch invasion after beating Coventry in the cup for a day out at Manchester United's stadium.
