Who should take our penalties?

Never O'Hare if that's going to always be his penalty approach!

Would actually have preferred Brewster last night at least he’d have put his foot through it.

Not entirely sure where it would have ended up but at least it wouldn’t have been a little dribbler against the keepers legs

Anyone who can strike a ball properly but in reality, I reckon Hamer seems the sort of character who would saunter up and stick it in the corner without being overawed.

Posted in the Kieffer Moore thread. But Burrows should be 1st choice for me.

Hamer understudy

My choices:

Peck,
Burrows
Davies
Souza
Hamer

Isn't there something about Left footed players and pens or have I imagined that?

NOT KIEFFER MOORE!

Rather have Knilly step up!

If you're going to go straight down the middle, surely you either have to give it a small dink(Panenka) or the Sharp blast as hard as possible mid height? The roll it straight along the ground still gives a keeper a chance to use his feet if he's dived either way.
Seems the most illogical choice of taking a penalty.
Harry Maguire has no messing around, varies from a blast it high right or low into the left corner.

Brewster has missed his last 2 penalties, Wrexham (League Cup) and Blackpool (22/23 season).

Moore scored his last penalty but last night it was a poor penalty, if you're going to go down the middle at least put a bit of height on it so you can clear the keepers legs, match report on BBC Sport said he mis-hit the penalty?

Missed the last one he took against Wrexham.

Brewster has also missed in shoot outs. His record is wretched.

Anyone who wanted him to take that penalty Is insane.

Yes he scored his one against Plymouth, however it was actually a very similar shot. I think he was very fortunate to score with that one. Don’t know why he doesn’t just aim for corners!

Davies for me. Technically very good and a cool head as well. Or let Hamer smash it as hard as he can.

I think Hamer should take them. There was an away game earlier this season and prior to the match he was practicing free kicks from just outside the area - he repeatedly put the ball just inside the post (both sides) - granted there wasn't a wall or keeper trying to stop him ;)

Captain Blade,
ger rit forward blade on the kop
Simonsen
Me
Basically anybody but Moore.

I love Hamers style, smash the back doors out of the ball and it'll either fly in or fly miles over....

To put a positive spin on last night's effort, I'm just glad it was a shot on target. I fully expected Moore to chip the ball out to the wing to let O'Hare, Brewster and Gilchrist fanny about with it for a minute or two, before making its way back to Cooper, via Peck.

Burrows or perhaps Cooper ? He's a confident chap and can strike the ball better than most of the team.
That pass from Cooper in the second half, that he drilled about 30 yards shin height, into one of our players (can't remember who?) was outrageously calm as it went through 3 Sunderland players on its way. My heart was in my mouth but he just never seems fazed at all!

Harrison Burrows penalty record 4 taken 4 scored none missed for Peterborough.
