I am not fond on any of them really but at least McBurnie was handy defending corners

What the hell kinda argument is that?KM has more “significant” numbers of transfer fees (albeit cumulatively less due to a major one off disproportionate fee)
More career goals without doubt.more career goals (I said career not just Championship career)
What the hell kinda argument is that?
A nomadic striker who has moved for more than £3 million once in his career.
Total transfer fees of £11 million, with this being his last transfer fee more than likely.
(Not sure how that's even something to consider when judging how successful a career is).
Kieffer has moved for a lot more than Messi, does that mean he's had a better career?
More career goals without doubt.
But let's look deeper into that...
Moore has 64 goals in the premier league and championship (in 228 appearances).
McBurnie has 57 goals in the premier league and championship (in 221 appearances).
So from the above, you'd suspect Moore comes out on top.
The caveat is that of Moore's 228 appearances in the top two divisions, only 35 of those are in the premier league.
McBurnie has 96 premier league appearances (majority in two of the worst performing teams the league has ever seen).
Now I'm sure not even you would disagree that it's a lot harder to score goals in the premier league than the championship?
Why didn't you pull up stats for assists into your argument too?
Moore has 15 assists at championship level (0 at a level above that).
McBurnie has 8 assists at championship level, 4 at premier league level and 3 in la liga, 1 of which was in a draw against Real Madrid.
The obvious summary is that although the stats are close, they're not really comparable for two reasons:
A) Oli has played at a higher level more frequently, where goals/assists are harder to come by.
B) Moore's career is 4 years further on than Oli.
Compare them both at 28 years old and it's not even close (Moore had 0 premier league goals at 28 for example).
Please don't get disheartened that again, your own opinion on your superior football knowledge hasn't quite lived up to expectations.
I'm not that thrilled about him coming back, but I'd understand it, as he's an obvious improvement on Moore if we're sticking with the same turgid style of play.
What makes me want Ol to re-sign more than anything though is you. I absolutely adore how much of a fool you make of yourself on here when it comes to Ol. I genuinely really do enjoy it.
You've omitted one crucial point - value for money. And on this Moore beats McBurnie considerably. Just remember we paid 20 Million for McB, and he was probably on at least £25k a week, and for many weeks he was unavailable due to constant injuries and/or suspension.
I didn't omit that, it wasn't relevant to the conversation. The point he was trying to make was who has had the better career, not value for money. You've omitted one crucial point - value for money. For me Hamer has the best shot on him so should take the next penalty . Its the second time this season we have had a penalty saved. Itwasn't an awful penalty from Moore but didn't feel he was going to score. I think Moore has done OK for us today, but wouldn't be my first choice for penalty taker.
3 from 3. Photographic proof somewhere…I nominate Sid1978 . 100% record in front of the Kop in white trainers. All facts.

McBurnie definitely had some lengthy poor spells with us, not helped by injury/unavailability.
To add to what PeterNdlovu081 said, Ol was our joint top scorer in the season we finished 9th in the premier league too.
Does he keep them now BBD is back?Burrows. Perfectly placed penalty on Saturday. Rolled in off the post.

Yes. Until he misses he stays on them. He was penalty taker at Peterborough so has plenty of experience and now got his first for us. What we need to do is stop giving pens to players to build confidence or “right a wrong”. Moore or Brewster can have them again once we have a P next to our nameDoes he keep them now BBD is back?
Or if Cannon comes in?
I would say they are his to lose now but we suddenly are looking much better in that department too.
As Trig Jnr (TE) said, scored two goals, hit three postsBurrows. Perfectly placed penalty on Saturday. Rolled in off the post.
You're fucking doolally youTo you perhaps. Accepted. It’s your opinion. Mine differs.
KM has more “significant” numbers of transfer fees (albeit cumulatively less due to a major one off disproportionate fee) more career goals (I said career not just Championship career) more international caps (with comparable international squads).
Moore > McB. IMO.
In an ideal world, I’d want neither playing anything more than impact sub roles for a side challenging at the top of the Championship. It’s noticeable how the other sides in this position in or around us do not rely on OM / KM types, they go for pace and power.
We should also be going down this route going forwards.
Which leaves absolutely NO room for OM to come in. I understand his LP nickname is “runs in superglue”. Didn’t take their fans long.
Did it ?!!!!!!!
UTB
Scored 4 of 4 for them last year.Didn't Burrows take pens for Peterborough?
He takes a good pen, should've been on them since August.
Cannon
Burrows
Campbell
So you’d have Brewster who’s about as handy as toothache or Campbell who did fuck all at Stoke ahead of him? Our strike ‘force’ won’t get 20 between them with Brewster getting 0
Hahahaha yesChanged your mind yet mate?![]()
