Would/could Knill be our manager if that happened or would he go with Wilder? I'm starting to think of them as Clough and Taylor, without the controversy of course
Wilder will be the first to say it's always about the players. We have good players that a decent replacement could utilise.
But can see Wilder being out Alex Ferguson for quite some time . When we stay up why would he go and start from scratch somewhere else. We are as good for him as he is for us.
Comes to something when the pigs greatest achievements this century is to get promotion from league one ahead of us and have a play off final. That’s it.
In that time they’ve also ripped off banks and local businesses, restarted with another company name, had a foreign owner come in and blow £80m and rising, and finally look to be in the shit for fiddling their accounts so they can continue to cheat and flounce the rules.
Yet apparently, United will be in massive trouble if Wilder goes!!
What twisted logic, they really are prize weapons.
Let’s put this to bed.
Wilder has a job with his club as long as he wants it. That means, other than the lure of champions league and league titles he’s going nowhere. Which clubs can realistically offer titles and champions league?
City, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Man Utd...and that’s it. Even then, some of those look a long way off. These clubs operate with a base of foreign players and managers. A bloke from Sheffield who masters in motivation and plain speaking won’t work.
So it’s down to the rest to try and force their way in...would he stand a better chance doing that where he is? Or jumping ship for an Everton, or Newcastle, West Ham...who would Chuck money at it but expect success.?
Answer is staying here, while he is allowed to control it, see a gradual increasing in the playing squad investment and a constant improvement of the club as a whole he’s going nowhere.
Money isn’t even a factor, I suspect he’s the lowest paid in the league, but even then he will be doing well and comfortable. He’s just a genuine guy who loves his football, and money isn’t the deciding factor to him.
So silly pigs, don’t go getting your hopes up that we will be coming to join you in the shit anytime soon. We may go down this season, but even if we did the club is miles ahead of you in every aspect. Enjoy league one...because it’s coming eventually.
CW has his perfect job, can’t see him leaving for another club side.
Different story if England come calling!Could do it part time I suppose.
Stop worrying about the future. Football is all about the present time. We’re having one of, if not the best periods in history. Enjoy it whilst it lasts. No need to worry about the future until it arrives.View attachment 61782
I'm interested to hear what people think of this scenario, for a Wendy he certainly raises a good question. Would Prince get the right guy in IF Wilder went to lets say a top 4 side?
Nothing more than a screech for help from a desperate owl.View attachment 61782

This is what I was pondering yesterday, think I'd just heard some noise from Southgate on the radio or something.CW has his perfect job, can’t see him leaving for another club side.
