Pignomics for beginners:

"Debating with a Pig fan is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon; it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory".
"I have seen more intelligent creatures lying on their backs at the bottom of ponds!"

Well it's up there with all the other dystopian futures; zombie apocalypse, a world without energy, alien invasion, third world war, United without Wilder.

I'm still flummoxed why Howe and Dyche haven't been given opportunities to manage a top six club, especially Howe whom has taken Bournemouth from League 1 to an established premier league club playing attractive football (Wilder has reiterated on numerous occasions on how he sees Bournemouth as a model to replicate). Therefore I can't see Wilder being taken seriously by top Premiership sides unless he wins a trophy or we get into the top six etc.

There was an Everton fan on Talksport radio last night.
When asked would Everton fans take Howe, he said “everyone tries to link Eddie Howe to Everton because he’s a big Everton fan”
But then said that managing Everton is a world away from managing Bournmouth, there would be big pressure and expectation.
He said when Howe went to Burnley he struggled and thinks he’s a great match for small clubs.
His suggestion for next Everton manager was Jose Mourino.

He also commented about us too. He said Sheffield United played really well against Everton, they did what you would expect and parked the bus with everyone in defence. Said Everton always seem to struggle against teams that set our to frustrate them and in that respect Wilder got his tactics right.

He thought he was paying us a complement but as Wilder said Saturday was our worse performance of the season. We were terrible on the ball and didn’t play well.
Also previously we’ve rarely sit back parking the bus, it’s not our style but obviously this Everton fan (like 90% of PL fans) didn’t know this.

Perry Groves was doing the match commentary on Talksport for our match on Saturday.
He was actually complementary about us. He said that Everton had loads of possession and loads of passes
But weren’t going anywhere and didn’t really look like scoring. Although our defence was busy he said we looked comfortable.
Said it was the classic away display by Sheffield United. He said he also saw us away at Chelsea and based on what he’s seen think we’ll stay up.

I think he would leave if he wasn't backed to take the club any further forward. I could imagine him wanting to be at a club with ambitions and the backing to challenge the Top 6. He would prefer that club to be us, but if he felt that we were stagnating and the owners were content with the middle of the table he would look for something that could take him up a level.

The other reason for leaving is if HRH decided to interfere, like he first tried with Van Winkel as DOF

Wilder won't tolerate interference. He would just walk away immediately and there would be 10 jobs lined up to choose from.

Prince has now realised you don't fk with the Messiah and as a consequence he has appeared to back off. So long as that doesn't change, this reason won't apply

WTF is this thread about? We are now owned by a member of one of the richest families in the world.

We are Saudi Arabia’s only Prem League club.

Our owner regards Tufty as the Muslim equivalent of the Messiah.

This is our time and one of us is taking us there.

My tag line has never been more true - Today is a gift, that’s why they call it the present.

I never believed that we would get back to where we are, and yet I am still looking upwards.

If I am living the dream, Tufty is in heaven.

The Magic is Back

No need to worry about Wilder leaving he is a Blade. All the big clubs, media will be interested in the best footballing manager in the country, the cheating Dr Bielsa .

Or Gary Monk.

Reasons:-
1 - Lack of support from the board.

2 - we stagnate and he feels he's taken us as far as he can..

In short there's absolutely no reason for CW to leave anytime soon.

Death ? 💀

If he died I would become a necromancer and raise his rotting corpse to become the world's first dead football manager.

"Moaaaaan... over lapping centre bacccccks.... Groannnnn Peer onniiii"
I thought that was Pellegrini. He looks like Howard Marks’s ghost.

You have to agree it would difficult to replace Wilder and Knill. But you’d like to think someone like Billy or even Jags would be learning the ropes under Wilder.

This thread is turning into one of them international break types.
