If they lead us to ignominious relegation like the current numpty and his dinosaurs, of course they won't! It's axiomatic.

In answer to the OP, my opinion is that the club needs someone who can, at a stroke, change the whole external perception and internal culture of the club in a footballing sense. A known footballing manager renowned for setting teams out to play a certain way. This would also help integrating the youth lads who have clearly benefitted as a group from this underlying philosophy. This particular philosophy hasn't done the Spanish any harm now has it !

While MA has been given a raw deal, of that there is no question, I do not believe that his particular style of management and footballing belief system / philosophy will tick this particular box.

So I would therefore be looking to go all out for O'Driscoll or Di Mateo. Di Mateo being the preferred option but almost certainly the more difficult one of the two to get on board.

I have a hunch that SOD, assuming MA is relieved of his duties, WILL be the Blades number 1 target. And it is rumoured that the feeling at the Keepmoat is that it might be time for a change so the timing could be perfect.
