Who’s the second one?

Given Selles mentioned wanting an experienced midfielder who knows his system (or something along them lines), Knibbs would fit that category.

Is it Harvey Knibbs that we're after though, as the name has come out of nowhere as far as I can tell.

Who was it who first dropped his name being linked to us?

Well this is confusing me.

So much for AI and best in class recruitment. We only seem to be looking at players who have played for the manager and he's only managed two teams, neither team was very good
It happens quite often with managers, especially in their first season with new clubs, signing former players who they know can adapt to their play style rather than taking a punt on a new player who may or may not work.

Wilder: Jake Wright
Hecky: Adam Davies
Jokanovic: Guediora (probably misspelt that)
Adkins: Sharp, Woolford, Hammond

Yep, Selles will be out there now, signing up dross.
Once Arblaster and Tom Davies are fit, whoever comes in will probably be fourth in the midfield pecking order. So it's fair to say they will probably be squad fillers, hopefully not dross though

If it is knibbs I think that tells you everything you may need to know about Hamer but doubt this is the high quality signing he’s alluded to. he’s not high quality in my mind.

I reckon Hughes’s or Alzate

I don’t think he will sign any dross, just despair sometimes at the negativity of people who seem to think he might.

Knibbs from what I have been reading this evening as admittedly I haven't seen him live or on tv seems very efficient at pressing which is going to be a big part of this system and has a knack of arriving late into the area for the crosses and cut backs. If Selles rates him and wants to bring him and believes he can make the step up then I am fine with it, early days yet but Selles is impressing me thus far.

Arblaster maybe Tom Davies will never be fit enough so they’ll get game time

Are we sure the midfielder he's referring to that he's worked with before isn't Barry and this has been misinterpreted?

His basic stats at Reading are very good indeed. Fotmob also says he's 187cm which is... Over 6ft.

Edit: Fotmob says he's left footed. Watching highlights he's clearly right footed. Tall though.

It depends what backing he gets from the board. We need quality to get us automatic promotion, not squad filler. We saw the importance of a player like Souttar last season. We’ve seen it with MGW and others. It’s real difference makers we need.
