We definitely need another experienced centre half, I'd be really nervous if we go into the start of the season with just JLT as cover , long way to go yet but just looking at the 2 friendlies we look like we've got goals from allover !

Garcia if we are actually interested would you’d assume be a long term investment as he’s unlikely to displace Burrows and McCallum this season but nearly a full season in league one at 17 and interest in him from some pretty big clubs could be a sensible investment.

Don’t know on Savage being a DMC maybe that’s how Selles views him but maybe the idea will be to go with Peck and Blaster once fit and Savage can fill the gap until then as well as offer competition for the other midfield spots as well and be a long term asset. It’ll depending if Reading need to seek to keep the lights on this summer if they do they could be good investment with a view to further developing them and increasing their value.

Doing those sort of deals is how teams have managed to acquire wealth through trading players not many clubs do it well but maybe we will.

Bailey is associated with EFL analysis according to his twitter bio and used to write for the mirror and bleacher report for a long time. I don’t know how credible he is it could just be a needing to fill column inches job so pick some likely names from former teams but he’s not just some random kid writing articles in their bedroom.

So did Greg Halford in the same team but we still never scored from them.

Saying that, with the off ball runs Selles has players making, throwing it ahead of them into space may well see us capitalise on them this season. Then again that would mean starting JLT, so no thanks.
