Yeah, thought a few would be thinking along those lines. Imagine if we get promoted wearing it!Couple on eBay already...
No idea how many they set aside for online sales or whether they updated in real time. They always run out of M within hours even for a 'normal' shirt release let alone a limited edition.
According to twitter earlier the shirts were 'literally flying off the shelves' which is quite the achievement...
Yep, still boils my piss that oneI'm surprised they didn't look at the queue in the car-park at 8 o'clock this morning and sell them right there and then; we were away at Southampton today weren't we?

Nice that some people's first thoughts are to rip off fellow Blades, if indeed these people are Blades.
I've got that one aswell. Wore it for last match last season. Got the white wards one from Wembley v palace final year too.
You could argue that anyone who can afford £45 for a replica shirt who moans about an extra £2 is a bit of a cheapskate themselves.
It would be nice though if the club matched the donation so the charity received £4 per shirt.
It only looks like that if you want to take that viewpoint. The club makes no profit, it makes a loss so not really comparable with Apple. Any money 'made' by the club goes towards the cost of providing us with decent players to play decent entertaining football. Given how quickly the shirts have sold out I don't think many people share your view, which comes across as massively exaggerating the issue so that you can have a dig at the club. You’ve misunderstood my point. I’m not bothered about the £2, I’m bothered about the image of my club and increasing the shirt prices makes them look like cheapskates who care more about profit than charity.
Imagine if a huge company like Apple said “we’re going to donate 10% of every IPad sale to UNICEF from now on.*
*the price of iPads will rise from £400 to £444.40 from today.”
There’d be a massive uproar and people would accuse Apple of being corporate scumbags (which they undoubtedly are) and their image would be massively damaged.
The point is: Sheffield United have made out they’re donating money to a charity when they’re actually keeping their usual profits and asking the fans to donate on their behalf. It’s poor form and really does reflect badly on the club.

I’m not having a dig at the club at all. I’m having a dig at whichever corporate fat cat it was that decided to change the pricing from £45 per shirt (which it was when it first went up yesterday) to £47 today so they don’t have to pay the charity. I’m actually saying it reflects badly on the club and I don’t like that.
x3 age 7-8 white kit in club shop left when I was in just now.All adult sizes sold out now, I got the last one![]()

Struggling to see how it has "backfired" Danny04 ? I'm sure he can afford the 10% eBAY fee just fine. Why has it been hijacked?
Think they’re saying it’s fake bids & the “buyer” has no intent to pay up

Then the seller opens a non-paying bidder dispute and gets his fees refunded.Think they’re saying it’s fake bids & the “buyer” has no intent to pay up

Because people are pissed off that someone’s bought a shirt with apparent intent to sell it straight on, I’d say
You never know. It may actually be in such high demand ?
Like the one also on eBay at £68?
Where's that? I can only see one at £200 buy now and the £5k one
It literally makes my blood boilI literally explode when people mis-use the word literally in this context.
