Pathetic showing, sold out but probably the quietest we've hosted all season despite being a fantastic day, later kick off so time for beer and last game of the season. Loudest they were all game was half time cheer for city winning and full time cheer for city winning. Never known a club so in the shadow of another.

Not just them that's been quite this season though, to say the away end had been sold out nearly every game I can't remember a notable away showing. To say these are meant to be the biggest clubs in the country... We've had far louder from championship clubs who've only half filled it.

Looking forward to the championship now with proper fans, competitive games and no VAR.

Might it be that away fans didn’t feel the anxiety of not getting three points?

Yep can not wait until a Tuesday night in February v Millwall what a cracking atmosphere that will be.

We still made plenty of noise last season when we were on a roll and expected to beat nearly everyone. I think they're just spoilt with success.

I think there is an argument that they don't have much to cheer about in terms of competition, before the season started you could have said they would finish bottom end of the European places.

All their songs were about Arsenal bottling it.

There's nothing for the away fans to get them up for it, in other words they know and expect to win, basically just seeing out 90mins before they fuck off home or to the pub.

No one in the PL gives a flying one when they play us home or away.

Were a day out and 3 points, no animosity and atmosphere is needed.

When we play teams away we’re like when the lower league team turns up with some noisy fans because we know we won’t be back anytime soon.

Might not have heard the loudest away fans all the time in the championship, but proper away fans coming to lane have been severely lacking this season (compared to last season).

Been to all 19 home premier league games this season and only away fans worth mentioning are Forest, Burnley and Arsenal, every one else has barely made an impression.

Did notice they clapped our leaving players before start of match and they probably haven't a clue who they are

But they are in Arsenal's shadow and have been in living memory. How are they supposed to act, as though they are equals or aren't bothered about them.

In this mess of a league, the purest bit of what I know as football was Spurs fans celebrating City winning the other day. I assume plastic fans from rural areas might not get it, how do people living in Sheffield manage it?

Yet they create animosity on Twitter.
