Apologies if posted elsewhere but seem to remember quite a few people wanting the club to bring out our white 3rd kit. Just read they are selling a small batch of it tomorrow morning once sold that's it no more will be available.

I've got one of the 'Laver' white shirts, that I'm going to put on EBay, it's in great condition.

If anyone on here wants to buy it, pm me for the details and make me an offer.:)

I'd love one of these, can't be in Sheff tomorrow morning though!

£47. I’m sure it said £45 earlier but can’t be certain. So the £2 charity donation has just been added onto the price of the shirt. Seems a bit off surely they could have donated the couple of quid and kept it at £45. Not slagging off donating to the charity just think increasing the price of the shirt to account for it is a bit off.

You're right mate. It was £45 when I saw it. Bit of a joke really when it won't be worn after this season.

None of the jerseys will be worn (by the team) after this season
Didn't/ stop folk buying all the purple ones, or, I suspect the home kit - especially if we don't go up automatically & have a (celebratory) day out @ Wemberleeeeee (for once/finally)

I’m not sure who’s decision it was to increase the prices by £2 but it makes the club look like absolute cheapskates. The charity has obviously approached the club and asked for a small donation from each shirt and the club have agreed but then thought “we’re not losing any money on this, we’ll make the fans pay the extra £2 to the charity.”

I know it’s not a huge amount extra on top of the normal price but £45 is already a rip off imo. Plus it really does make the club look like greedy corporate bastards. Rant over.

Yes it doesn’t look good. It’s not like they said £47 at the start it bloody said £45 then they sneakily changed it as unitedbhoy kindly confirmed for me. It’s like the finance department found out and went “Bloody hell we can’t afford to donate £2 we only make £2.50 per shirt anyway Adidas take the rest!”

Queueing to the top of the car park apparently anyway. Our fans are bloody fantastic/mental sometimes (delete according to point of view).

Anyway I’ve seen some photos and they’ve got that horrible red and green blob on the back so that’s me out. I thought they might not have put it on as they’re only putting a few on sale. It’s a smart shirt but that on the back ruins it like it does all our shirts. Maybe they could have stuck an Alzheimer’s Society logo on the back instead.

Can imagine Doordeals, who pay decent £ to be the back of shirt sponsor, being delighted when shirts are sold without their logo on the back of the shirt :)

It was never planned to be sold anyway they’ve got their name on the home and away shirts. And United are using this shirt to donate to that charity I just think it would have been a nice touch.

Or just put the DD logo in black not red and green!

Or peel it off? :)

Nothing available online I see, all out of stock.
There is some left in the shop, large definitely and kids 10-11 think it was and some smaller children's ones. I would ring before you go down, like I should have done.
I thought about one for myself but already have the home shirt and the purple away one.

Ordered mine online at 8.55 this morning; always love a limited edition as well as a white away shirt. Although not as much as I love a yellow away shirt with black 'v's.

They don’t come off that easy I tried it with that DBL Logistics logo when they jumped on the anti-Ched bandwagon! Just ruined my shirt!

I just think the red and green logo looks shite on our shirts. The words “Door Deals” on the sign on their own workshop/showroom is written in white on a black background.

No idea how many they set aside for online sales or whether they updated in real time. They always run out of M within hours even for a 'normal' shirt release let alone a limited edition.

For some reason having Door Deals on the back of the shirt has homosexualist connotations for me.

Anyway, completely forgot about this and missed the online offer. Bollocks.

Why have got the special treatment from Adidas anyway with such a small, limited edition run of shirts?

You could argue that anyone who can afford £45 for a replica shirt who moans about an extra £2 is a bit of a cheapskate themselves.

It would be nice though if the club matched the donation so the charity received £4 per shirt.
