So if Man City lose their appeal (and win the Carabao cup), Liverpool win the league (and the FA cup), and no English team wins either the Europa League or the Champions League, does that mean the European places would be ...

Is that right?
I was trying to work out what would then happen if Wolves finished 6th and won the Europa League. I assume they’d qualify for Champions League, but would that mean a Europa League spot for the team who finished 9th?!

I think 4th drop into Europa League if a team outside the top 4 win the Europa these days. Best bet is to keep picking up points and see where we are in 5 weeks. It will all be clearer then

I think we should forget about Europe and take it a game at a time and see how high we can finish, unfortunately Man Utd and Wolves were also at home against bottom six opposition and put them both away 3-0 it doesn't look to me like we are at that level just yet.

Better chance of winning the FA Cup

From a sensible progressive point of view I’d prefer to win the FA cup this season, 4 games away from that happening compared to 11 games with Europe. 2nd season with Thursday and then Sunday games would be very testing. Saying that my heart wants Europe as it’s a fantastic opportunity.
