what's up with some fans

They don't seem to have the desire or the pride to put 100% in every week and dig out results when not playing well
Or the fitness to do 100% every week. It’s a bit more complex than just effort, but I take your point. When up against other professionals (who also strive for 100%) you’re going to get games where their attributes cause you problems. Our problem is that there is a plan A and that’s it.

There's quite a big difference between saying "we were shit" and "we are shit". One was probably true today, the other is way off the mark.

On the money 100%.

A few know this but prefer to act the big Blade.

I'd seriously question any Blade not pissed off today, not by the result but the attitude and performance.

Its hilarious how Wilder is a ledge for telling it how it is, but fans being critical is a heinous act.

My expectation for this season was to finish in te play offs. So currently we are achievng that so i'm well happy.

We’ll all feel better next week at this time.

A draw at Brentford and a win v Leeds.

Agree with anger after today, I'm absolutely gutted and pissed off.

But to question our 'desire', 'professionalism' and 'fitness' in general is pathetic really.

It's too easy to trash your own team rather than give credit to the opposition. The Millers were excellent today and showed how pathetic Wendy's tactics were in the derby. Rotherham will not get relegated on the evidence of today's and recent performances. Wendy, on the other hand......just might. As for us - we'll be top 6 come the business end of the season.

Wilder tried plan a,b,c,and d non worked as Rotherham worked harder as a team

Yes we were shite yesterday, we know that, wilder knows it, the players know it ( not you Hendo!). It's disappointing and frustrating as I think even if we'd put in a 5/10 kind of performance we would have won that. We somehow got a point, which we probably wouldn't have got last season. Im not overly worried, I'd be more worried if it happens 3 or 4 times on the trot. Two very tough games coming up now though we're we need to be at our best. I don't think Brentford are as crap as their recent results seem to suggest.

You have to question United's attitude yesterday as they looked like they thought they only had to turn up and the job was done. Give Rotherham credit, they worked so much harder than we did, and clearly were more up for it than we were. How many times did you see a United player challenge for the ball and it always landed with the Millers player? That isn't coincidence when it happens nearly all the way through the game. United's passing was badly off and there was many a time when simple passes were going astray. Fleck and Norwood could have sat with me for all the good they did yesterday (they are still quality players though before people get all defensive on here).

They wanted it more than we did pure and simple. And that's the galling aspect of yesterday, more then the result which when all said and done isn't too shabby. I always got the impression that if we had just looked remotely like anything we are capable of we would have won the game comfortably but we didn't turn up. We were very lucky that we didn't get an hiding yesterday, and the players need a kick up the arse for that (Sharp, Duffy, and Hendo given a pass only for me).

if that's Rotherham being excellent I think I'd rather watch us being shit

People have a right to feel disappointed at a performance well below our usual high standards. It was really poor and whilst no one is saying sack the manager, sell players etc.....you have to call it as you see it. It was dreadful.

We dish out the praise when it's deserved, so the flip side of that also applies. We were crap yesterday and deserve flack for that performance. They have set a level of expectation and fell well, well short of it.

Good call Weasel that's how we all saw it and Wilder agrees

Do you mean, 'will he leaver' or 'he should go'? Cos he may well walk if he gets no backing but no way should he be sacked. He makes mistakes, sure (he made a handful today) but he's the best manager we've had in many a year. He goes and this side falls to bits.
The CLUB will fall to bits!

Wilder out if we don’t get top 6?

No.

But maybe certain people in the boardroom would need to ponder on the missed opportunities

I was as pissed off as anybody yesterday, but fuck me, what do we expect. We have a team of L1 and Championship players who due to their limited ability are unable to perform 100% every game. Doesn't mean they need slating every time we drop a point. World beaters one day, relegation favorites next is what we have to put up with until Wilder gets mega millions to spend.

Yesterday we were a shadow of how we can perform, Fleck had one of his worse ever games for us, Freeman is off his game and Norwood looked ordinary, but give me yesterday's performance over the dross we had to go through from Blackwell to Adkins anyday .

It’s bizarre. We snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. And it feels like a defeat because we should have won a game we didn’t deserve anything from.
Bonkers.

if we had put a shift in we'd have won today ,there is a thread full of people saying how wilder is a better manager than Warnock but Warnock never had this problem motivating his players[/QUOTE]

This is very true, the odd thing is everyone says CW get a bunch of unwanted players to play above themselves, yet in quite a few recent games we have actually performed below what we can! Never an issue for Warnock, and to be fair he had some players you would say were limited in ability, whereas CW has a bunch of talented lads.
I think CW will surpass NW eventually, but right now he needs to sort out the repetition of errors from him and the management team. We all love the honesty when he tells it as it is, but surely it’s a crime to the do it again?
Definition of stupidity.

I am sorry but this is pony. There was a whole season where Warnock couldn’t get the team up from the hang over of the play off final defeat in Cardiff. It was awful.

Whether Wilder is a better Manager is always gong to be speculative but let’s at least stick with facts.
