That was a shite performance today! The biggest crowd since Prem days and a chance to persuade many neutrals to follow us next season and we played absolutely awful.

If relegated Chesterfield had took their chances we'd have lost.

The atmosphere was garbage and the absence of a pitch invasion spoiled it for me. Never mind all these 2 year olds who don't even realise what they've witnessed. Let us old guys on the pitch to Chair the manager around the ground for his fantastic achievement!

We've gone up with 100 points. Our manager won't sit on his laurels, he will want more next season, and we may just have the financial clot to be competitive.

Take a chill pill and look at the table.
100 points, well clear of second place. The best player in the league is the highest scorer, he's our captain, and he's a proper Blade.

Much better 3-2 today than 5-0 I thought. They played out of their temperamental skins and we had to step out of 2nd gear briefly in order to subdue them and secure those 100 points. What could have been no more than a meaningless exhibition match gave us the impression it was competitive. Dave Bassett would have loved it.

I felt we were a slightly reduced version of what we've been all season, tbh, that's all. Usually, when looking for a winner, we've knocked it up a gear or two, as necessary. Today we did it by finding an extra half a gear--and, defensive lapses aside, we still looked a far better team.

It was always as likely to be a tight one as it was a hammering. Turned out good for the bookies, I dare say.

Today wasn't really about the game, more the event and culmination of a wonderful season. We won without playing with our normal intensity, we reached 100 points, Billy got his deserved 30th, and we were presented with a handsome trophy. Only the fourth league trophy we've ever won. That, for me, was a fantastic day. UTB forever.
