Commentator on US feed says we look like a team that has run out of ideas…..

That’s a very very sad reflection of this game and our team today

But it’s true. We have no idea how to get back into this game ..

It’s been a poor game from us. Some really bad individual mistakes that have turned the momentum against us.

But let’s not deny that they’ve got a decent, physical, hardworking team. They’re vulnerable, but have grown into the game, worked harder, won their battles and outfought us all over the park.

We’re patched up and playing our 3rd match in 6 days. With the amount we’ve been slipping, you have to wonder how bad the pitch conditions are too.

Back to worrying about relegation rather than thinking about play offs, terrible couple of performances
I don’t think we need to worry about either, the last few weeks have shown we have enough about us to stay clear of relegation, but with how bad the start was I don’t think we are good enough to keep up the form needed to trouble the top 6.

Surely they're playing their 3rd match in a week too!

I’m not sure I’d be blaming Mcguiness for getting tripped over

Id blame wilder for not playing our best player Ohare

Keeping the two laziest strikers we have on who don’t press

And taking off the best midfielder on the pitch Soumare off for his son in law

If Arblaster needs minutes CW put him in the U21’s not the first team

First half was ok, I even thought soumare looked better further up the pitch breaking things up. Second half player for player they look far better, not even close, they bossed us.

Hopefully a blip, but one definite thing - there's no place for McGuiness in this team. He's a bad player and should not play again. Is he on loan or a signing?

Selles may have gone but his team keeps reappearing when the other team scores, this is virtually the same second half as against Leicester

You're more confident then me, i doubt the owners will invest anything if we have no chance of play offs, and i don't trust this bunch if it comes down to a battle in the last few games

Wasn’t good enough but on another night, the second is disallowed and we get a penalty. That’s a night where the referees are not the ones we get.

I was glad to see Jack Robinson leave and don't want him back but if Birmingham offered to swap him for McGuiness I'd snatch there hands off

I thought we looked a tired team and that's understandable in the circumstances, but we really were toilet in the second half.

I actually wouldn't be too bothered about this result in isolation. We're not going to win every week and West Brom look a decent side who have a very good home record. It's frustrating though because we've dropped 5 points in 4 days after a great run, which has made that Norwich result look like a shocker.
Yep and more baffling why he changed it so much.

Did you think we were a relegation side 2 games ago?, let’s not throw the towel in after every defeat. We have been poor tonight and deservedly lost, i think we just need to accept what the squad is at the moment which in my opinion is a bang average mid table side, so we will go on to be inconsistent.

The first goal was a move Leicester were putting on us all second half, ball out wide right and sliding balls to forwards who were making runs between the centre backs.

WBA 2 Blades 0

Fair result.

It’s funny how whenever we lose everyone reaction was we were crap, no effort and look for people to blame.

However think we were OK in the 1st half but once they scored their energy and confidence levels went up
Whereas our energy and confidence levels decreased.

To be fair….sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition…they were very good…probably one of the better teams we’ve played.
We learn and move on to the next game.

Comments
Their goals came from our mistakes, unforced passes straight to them. We need to cut out stupid unforced errors.
Our confidence always seems to go once we concede. Why? And is Wilder working on it because it’s been a pattern all season.
We miss drive without Sidie.

Yeah ….. too much to do to make top 6 - but comfortably better than at least 3 teams. Probably going to end up 12th/13th

2 games ago i thought we could be pretty close to the play offs by January, which would entice the owners to throw a bit of money at it, i'm afraid they'll just say go with what we have if we're miles off in January. I'm not throwing the towel in, i very much doubt we'll get relegated, but IF we did get pulled into it with 5 games to go i don't trust this team to show any bottle or fight

Poor performance, although could have been 2 or 3 up first half with beterr decisions and fniishing... Soumare had a decent first half though.
2nd half was garbage,we seemed to have forgotten how to pass the ball, too many mistake all over the pitch and they nullified our right hand side which has been our main threat in recent games.
Maybe all the changes and the quick turnaround in games has been too much gor us.
