Hopefully Brewster but I’m sure Burke is coming
2Burke seems nailed on. Dennis would be great. I expect us to sign a few forwards though. Surely we won’t be signing Brewster now, aren’t we only allowed one Prem loan?

Seems like Burke + another

we will provide get Burke and Hare
Why does Deeney keep getting mentioned? He would be the worst attacking signing since Marlon King (another Watford bum)
Deeney would have been a useful signing years ago.
Don’t dismiss Burke.CW always said would be a couple of loan signings, so one of the strikers I'm guessing is either Brewster or Dajaku.
Other one will likely be Burke although really hoping/wishing for Dennis instead.

Surely it's two. We had Henderson and Besic last year. Have the rules changed?

It's not the case of West Brom stalling. It's because both players are away on international duty and won't be signing deals until they get backBurke appeared to be done & dusted, but it sounds like either us or WB are driving a slightly harder bargain than the other wanted. Can't see it not getting done though, they want Robinson where as I think we have moved on from him, and Burke potentially looks like a rough diamond with his pace & power whom Wilder & Knill could really mould into something special.
I have a very good feeling that Brewster will come to us, despite desperate Villa offering up the cash that was set aside for Watkins (I would seriously piss myself if they didn't land a striker in this window by the way). I am not sure personally that the Dennis rumour was ever credible, happy to be proven wrong though.
A strike force of McBurnie, Mousset, Brewster, McGoldrick, Sharp and Burke is decent and gives us lots of options imo.
Deeney would still demand a huge amount of money and a transfer fee as he is pivotal to Watford going back up. Plus Watford don’t seem short of funds so potentially wouldn’t even need the money.Wilder has done it before, and signed an old stager for a season initially. Think Jake Wright, Leon Clarke, Jags, Didzy. He might do the same again with Deeney.

And one international loan![]()
Besic isn't classed as an International loan. He came from Everton.I thought it was 3 international loans - making 5 in total? We had Henderson, Besic, Retsos & Zivkovic last season.
