We need a Team who make the right decisions.

We need our players to lift their heads before just knocking it aimlessly forward, we need our players to stop running down blind alleys, we need players to put the ball in earlier.

We need players when they get in a position to put a ball across the box, lift their heads and play it to the man in space in and around the penalty spot, Not just in front of the keeper or defender.

We need our manager to get his Mojo back, make the right team selection and tactics.

We need a WIN to get some confidence back.

We need a ...... big fkn centre half who gets his head to everything, dosn’t need to overlap as the ones weve got who cant head a ball cant overlap. How many goals have we conceeded from headers. Just get a really big fkr in
What about the old favourite Dan Burn? 6 foot 7 and left footed

Alan Woodward needed. Who needs a decent cross, he would score direct from the corner.
Last Season's Ollie Norwood (not to be confused with the similarly-named, yet completely unrelated This Season's Ollie Norwood) sort of did that twice didn't he? Everton & Palace. I think both went down as own goals but LSO Norwood's tricky corners deserve much of the credit for those goals.

I thought it was going to be about signing a player to galvanise the team and supporters a la Glynn Hodges.

The art of dribbling is virtually dead. When I was growing up in the '40s and 50s every club had tricky ball players, either as wingers or inside forwards (or both). Stanley Matthews was the most famous footballer in the country - if not the world. We had the legendary Jimmy Hagan.
Today, if any youngster shows exceptional ball skills I suspect that they are coached out of him so that he can be a good 'team player'.
Damn right there, I’ve seen it first hand with my lad in a professional club academy. Pass and move is obviously important but there is little that gets a crowd going like a player drifting through tackles. Hardly ever seen today, although to give him his due, Traore,
gives it a go without falling over as soon as he’s challenged. It also scares the shit out of defenders because they are all coached into defending passing angles. Remember Michael Owen tearing through the Argentina side in the ‘98 World Cup - wonderful to watch.

We’ve got one called Bogle but he looks to beat a man so he’s not allowed to play, he needs to be able to get the ball all the way back to Ramsdale so he can boot it upfield to any fucker who’ll stick their noggin on it.
