Is it just me or does he sound like Brian The Blade on 6 mins ?

Love the bit at the end when he says that players blame all sorts for bad outcomes like the pitch, the ref etc. Surely he sees the massive irony in it all?

I wouldn't bet on it, he's a deluded hypocrite with all the personality traits of a Wednesdayite.

Some of my best days as a blade were under Warnock so he will get no stick from me. I do wonder though in this age of sensibilities where you cannot speak your mind if he can possibly be the same in the dressing room ?

I think he will be just the same.

Some people on here just don't seem to get it. Warnock isn't a hypocrite as some of our more cerebrally challenged posters would have us believe. In public he deliberately took the flak away from the players. He put himself in the firing line by making his (often) controversial comments and took the heat away from the players. What he did in this video was in the privacy of the dressing room. He had no idea it was being recorded and was not to know that someone would later post it on You Tube.

It really is quite unbelievable that he gets so much flak from our own 'supporters'. His sides gave us some of our best moments in the last 50 years. Perhaps people enjoyed being in the third division for 6 years......

It was filmed for a documentary

That's a cracker!

Ok, I'll define 'supporter' for you.

I follow Sheffield United Football Club. Simple enough so far....

You are an apologist for an odious turncoat cunt who attempted to sabotage his own club from the inside for his own ends.

You might want to be a Neil Warnock fan first and foremost, and that's your proclivity. I on the other hand know where my loyalties lie....

Never tire of watching that. Seen it many times before. Will no doubt watch it several times more over the years.

Yes, you're right. Perhaps we ought to have have stuck with Adrian Heath or maybe hired Gary Megson, as he was a serious contender at the time.

Everything was horrendous under Warnock. We never won a game and never had any high points at all.

As for trying to sabotage the club, I suppose you mean the 'Portsmouth' affair. Yep, he tried so hard to sabbotage us with that one that we did a double over Wednesday and got promoted with 90 points. The highest number of points any Blades side has achieved in the second tier and we lost fewer games that season than any Blades side has done since 1981-2.

It really was a truly awful time.

I would have thought a supporter would have been able to put aside his dislike of Warnock the person and at least recognise that his period in charge of the club was actually one of the less depressing periods we've endured over the last 40 years.

Yes, I hear Mussolini made the trains run on time too (then again he also had more than 7 years in the job)...

Dress it up however you like, he was happy to walk away with the team in top position.

Funny thing is, I was defending him to the hilt up until 2005 against various pricks calling for his head (probably the same pricks slagging Billy Sharp today). That ended when he let his fake Megablade mask slip.

Fuck him and his "record".

Nearly 2 million views, shows how we are a more massive club than other clubs who only think they are massive. :)

How many views will the Clueless, post game rant with the £20 note achieve ?

If he was happy to walk away, he would have done so. If he was such a turncoat as you suggest, he would have done so. But he didn't.

Your last sentence shows exactly what sort of alleged 'supporter' you are. More concerned about perpetuating an obsessional and irrational hatred of him than being pleased that we actually started performing better than for the majority of the last 40 years.

If he had not become manager, it would almost certainly have been Megson.

But then I suppose I am probably talking to Mrs Megson.....

It wouldn't matter if he'd won every game that season, he was happy to publicly engage in a rift with Kevin McCabe and more than willing to walk away. The only reason he didn't go to Portsmouth is because they appointed a better manager in Harry Redknapp.

I don't forgive anyone who shits on this club, there are certain ex players who I despise equally as much as Warnock for doing so. So please don't think I've made a special case out of your idol.

Anyway, I'll carry on supporting Sheffield United, you can carry on supporting Neil Warnock and we'll leave it at that.
