Extremely relieved he isn’t dog shit. Had a terrible feeling we’d found the only shit footballing export from Brazil. Also relieved that Larouci resembled a footballer of some sorts last night.
I reckon vini could develop into a really useful player for us: good energy, aggressive press and tackling, and one to get us blades on the edge of our seats!

Larouci looked waaaaaay out of his depth in last match, but was more settled yesterday and showed a couple of neat turns with the ball and impress bursts of real pace.

Season's not over just yet! Utb!!!

Definitely liked the look of him last night.

Brings aggression and some good old pashun, but can play too. Reckon he’d have swan dived into away end if that second half effort went in.

This lad will make a hugh difference to us when we have a couple of new players around him.

Very impressed with him last night . Big loss when he went off.

Yes he looked good just what we needed .got a decent shot on him to as well as good on the ball and his passes actually get to another blades player which is a novelty . As you say he could make a big difference to the team . Dont want him to look to good though or we will lose him next year .

As someone who’d not seen a second of last nights match, that sounds great

Bit premature, but think I'm getting his name on the Away shirt. Looks a baller.

So what is the verdict on this guy so far. I've been really impressed with his contribution both defensively and with the ball
From a defensive perspective, he's spot on and exactly what we need in this division. Can already see that we're much more solid through the centre with him in the team. Against teams like Man City or away from home, he's perfect for the role. Will be interesting to see how he performs in games where we have more of the ball and there's an expectation on him to contribute more in an attacking sense.
Love his attitude as you can see he's very competitive and a hard worker.
Hopefully he'll soon be up to full fitness and we'll be able to see him at his best.

He's tall, athletic, well coordinated, reads the play well, times his tackles nicely.

We saw at Forest, he isn't shy about venturing up field and having a pop at goal (2 good efforts).

Per your post, we haven't really seen his passing range yet.

That's the big question mark at the moment. Norwood is always willing to show for and pick up the ball from the defenders, and has a very good passing range when he's on his game. Will be interesting to see if Vini can contribute in this area as well as the grittier side of being a CM.

Really like the look of him and was good to see him play the full 90 at the weekend. Will be painful when he gets his 5th yellow card suspension! Sorting players by tackles and inceptions (excluding players who have played <90 mins) puts him in very good company next to Bissouma and Palhinha.
