McBurnie had a right good game yesterday- really enjoying watching him find his feet in the club now.

I was one of the doubters, but he's starting to win me over. Looks more like he should be on Concord Park on a Sunday, but his work rate in the Brighton game for me was fantastic. He's playing like he gives a shit, that's all I've ever asked.

I'm pleased for him....

I'm hugely disappointed that the forum is down. We've been a big topic on there all season as they try to get their heads round why we are doing so much better than them. I think it could have been a hall of fame standard View From
It's been a quite delicious transformation from their fans, from condescension to disbelief to grudging acceptance and/or bitter delusion depending on the individual.

Playing against opposition who really don't care if they end your career is very difficult. They aren't just cloggers, but they have that in their armoury.

As I said, there's a difference between being simply physically stronger & being prepared to cripple opposition players if necessary. We don't have that attitude, & most other PL teams don't. They do & it's part of their strategy.

Actually I think they have a huge collective chip on their shoulder, which originates from Wilder & his experience of being in L1, which I would imagine he found intensely humiliating. Farke not turning up early enough for him at Bramall lane would have been indicative to him of how all those Fancy Dan teams viewed his beloved United, & I'll bet it rankles to this day. You can feel it in the crowd as well.

It's not the whole story, but I think it's a big part.

Bizarre....

I remember that, first half, in a sprint against Billy, he won out and they were singing his praises.

That’s the same Grant Hanley that was nowhere to be seen when Billy scored the winner, so I suppose Billy didn’t beat him, he was in a different postcode.

Hanley was hoping Aarons would do his job for him when the cross came in.

You are the fucking centre back mate, why you are asking your short arse right back to pick up a player you should be marking.

Wank defending he decided to follow McBurnie's move to the near post with another defender leaving Billy free. Can't believe Norwich fans thinking he had a good game. That summed it up when he tripped himself up under pressure in the second half but lucky for him the ref gave them a free kick like he did for most of the game when a Norwich player went down.

Yep, tripped up under his own shoelaces but apparently that was a foul. If VAR and the ref were any good yesterday we would have won that match 3-0.

Farke Watch
I’ve noticed this a lot, and during match highlights on MOTD, with Farke when he is on the sidelines. He regularly has an index finger under his nose as though he is sniffing something on it to comfort him. God knows what it is?

Here’s an example. Anyone else notice this and have an explanation as to what it might be?

Maybe he is trying to copy fellow German Joachim Löw?

Genuinely think we are further ahead in our journey though. They remind me a bit of when we got promoted under Lambert - high energy, physical. But they are more defensive. Thing is, we then had years under hughton when we basically realised we all hated defensive football, it wasn't worth it. Now we are in the Premier League having a go at playing attacking football. Yes it isn't working out but at least we are trying to play good football and ultimately it will pay dividends as we are good to watch week in week out and our players are worth loads as we bring through the youth. Our squad must be worth a lot more than theirs. I would still rather watch us every week. What is the point of kicking your way to stay in the Prem year by year.

BINGO!

“Rich owners. They aren’t planning with Prudence.”

“Sheff Utd and Villa have very rich owners, more £ than Delia. Fact is we are self funded until there is concrete offer to buy the club, of which there hasn’t been.”

Who the hell is this rich owner and when did he buy Sheff U from the Prince?

“One of my least favourite grounds after the three of us were offered a fight outside the stadium after we beat them a couple of seasons ago. Yes I’m sure a couple in their ‘50s with their autistic son would be up for some mindless violence… Bizarre!”

we are still the kidney punching bastards of old!! 🤠

These comments were sparked off by the journalist and Norwich fan Mick Dennis who claims he was abused on Saturday. He was one of the few journalists supporting West Ham during the Tevez case too.

The only time I've seen any violence with my own eyes in the last few years was the game where Norwich timewasted for 60 minutes in 17/18, and it was a Norwich fan that hit someone, so they can fook off.

so reason to hate, if it did happen then of course no condoning of it but likely something to have a pop at us while our star fly's high!

I was just reading about wage bills in the Prem and ours is the lowest. Rich = lowest spent. You know what they say about folk from Norfolk though!
