The Wednesday fans on Twitter are brown nosing like you wouldn't believe. "We are with you, we aren't all like this in Sheffield, love us, please". Cringe time

And this is why football fans hate certain clubs. Before last night's match, I couldn't care less about Coventry. Now, having seen the amount of shite they've spouted - 'I'm glad Billy Sharps son died', hoping for one of our buses to crash etc. - I will reserve a special hatred for this insipid little club.

This level of hatred has nothing to do with a few sarcastic chants about SISU, the people spouting this venom were born cunts, live like cunts and will die as cunts.

at least someone realised it was professional football match
“only reason we lost was our forwards miss shed loads of chances we can’t score we don’t win” “United came here to win a game not to protest against SISU.
Their team did the job. Our team didn’t. Simple.”

I must have been watching the wrong channel.
"Our forwards missed a shed load of chances"
I believe Moore's kit didn't need washing and he's wearing it again on boxing day, it was that clean.

Haven't read most of what is on here because I can assume the comments are all very similar.
What would we have done in that situation? I know we've had some dire times, attendances below 12000 , three sides to the ground and more dodgy chairmen than you can shake sticks at. Not to mention dodgy last minute goals and of course Tevez.
But........what some clubs are having to put up with is quite concerning.

I think what I'm trying to say is a bit of solidarity isn't too hard to ask is it? We got the three points, we are on the up ( at last) ......where's your Christmas spirit.....?

Takes cover and awaits onslaught.......

So you think its ok that 5000 fuckwits spend 90 minutes imitating the ref which DEFINATELY affected our players, invade the pitch with the aim of getting the game abandoned, and with the possibility of serious safety issues?
Even in our darkest days we had more self respect and confined protest to off field activities.
Personally after last nights I hope they fold. Shitty boring cunthole of a town and club. Always have been.

graf, you forgot to add - born from the womb of cunts, there, just adds that finishing touch

You only have to quickly glance at swfc hashtag on twitter to see the cringeworthy.

just seen this. christ almighty have some fucking self respect you tart. it's embarrassing to be associated from the same City as such wet bastards.

A poster recently commented on how there's no difference between us and the Snorters. Yes. Yes there fucking well is.

This reaction to the protests of Coventry City fans is pathetic blades. Show some solidarity! I would love a similar campaign to rid us of McCabe - the reason for our six seasons in the third tier of English football.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha............
Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Who let this idiot access a computer?

Lincoln....I can believe.....Blade I cannot.

Fuck Coventry, fuck their fans. If they went out of business tomorrow I wouldn't bat an eyelid, going off as if they're the only team that's ever had any problems.
They mean nothing to me, never have/never will.

There's only one team that counts to me in football.

I agree with the sentiment, but opposition fans aren't going to give ground when it comes to very important games being disrupted. As such I don't think United fans did much wrong last night. If the protest didn't have a direct effect on the 90mins then I'm sure something in the way of solidarity would have been seen.

I genuinely wish Coventry all the best in getting rid of SISU. But they should realise it's not just their fans who attend games. And they should also appreciate that chanting love for SISU is just mickey taking - we don't actually own the bloody hedge fund....

Solidarity works both ways, chief.

Nobody gave a fuck when we get bent over by the Premier League, and we've been ridiculed for standing up for what was right ever since. Cov fans included.

Why the hell should I give a toss if their poxy club is going down the toilet?

Disagree, there are some clubs in England I would show solidarity with, others I wouldn't. Now coventry......to me is a nothing sort of a club, yes there fans are suffering, but for some reason I just couldn't really care. Maybe its because over the years, my visits to coventry have been lets say not very exciting (football and otherwise).

What the hell they on about! Nowt much has changed for them since last night.
As for us WE'VE HAD OUR FLIPPIN SHOUTBOX SHUTDOWN.
Banners at the ready folks we're organising a Foxy houshold invasion. Can someone organise Sky to telivise it and get some sympathetic comentators in.

What a night. Stewarding was piss poor. Plenty of Coventry fans allowed to run on the pitch, down near the front I see a blade getting dragged about because he was a bit irate and not far off the pitch, but it's big bad Sheffield united's fault.

Stopping a football match with a protest is plain wrong
all the blades fans would have been out of pocket , for a wasted journey and the added cost of the rearranged game
and the inconvenience

Blackpool got fined 50k for their pitch invasion when their match v huddersfield was called off
Coventry are strapped for cash , fines will hardly help

What made me laugh on sky when they (the "pundits" came up with the phrase "dignified invasion". I mean seriously??

Can you imagine the faux outrage if it was our fans that did that??

Anyway - they don't like pro-SISU piss taking, cry about it and say they hate us like a bunch of 10 years old that haven't got their own way?

I say we ramp up the pro SISU chants for when their 5 fans come to BDTBL. If they wanna play that game of being bellends - Fuck em.
Let that one be on Sky as well.

That's if Coventry survive until the Lane fixture of course.

This.

What do you reckon the response would be from the blades fans if we would have done something similar to McCabe and the Cov fans sang we love McCabe? Bet a view from Sheffield u from Cov fans would b identical.

I admit I'm pissed off Cov fans nearly ruined the result for us with bloody whistling etc but we should be glad they invaded the pitch as it disrupted their team and we won as a result.

End of the day football fans are all the same, we think our fans are better than anyone else's and we are whiter than white when its bollocks.
