VAR ruled this offside...

Looks like the ear is playing his toe onside to me as his ear is further ahead than his knee.

The FA need to address this and stop looking for reasons to disallow goals through bullshit four minute reviews.

VAR could be good, but not the way they're using it.

This.

What exactly is football all about remind me. Why make it even less likely we see goals?

On goals it has to be black or white, clear and obvious doesn’t come into it with goals, but for me that is legal at best, if you look at the black line it cuts across the defenders sholder, it’s a goal for me.

Surely the Tottenham players head and shoulder is playing him on anyway?
I think the way it's determined is by drawing a line from the body directly down to the pitch. If you do that with his head and shoulder then they're behind the line, so not playing him onside.

Still a ridiculous decision for other reasons though.

No problem with it being offside. IF, they have measured it correctly. however, looking at all the pictures, they've used diers knee as the reference point, but his shoulder looks further back than his knee. At what point do they look and think hang on I think we might not be using this correctly.

Thing is how on earth can that be described as clear & obvious. Clear & obvious doesn't take 5 mins
Cheated for me
