All the threads on the new kits got me thinking about unnoficial blades gear

Anyone still got any of the classic Tees from the 90s my old man had a Quality one United colours of Benntton I think it was with the 1992 home away and third kits on.

I also remember him getting the "Jurassic Pork" tee from the bloke on the corner of cherry and Shorham st.

United Colours of Sheffield

Silence of the Owls - United's Double Whammy 2-0, 3-1

Terminator 10 - The Deane Machine

Jurassic Pork - driven to extinction by the Bladeasaurus

We've just moved house and these are (were) all in a box waiting to go in the loft with a load of replica shirts too.

Mine went to a young Turkish waiter in Kusadasi in 93, as did my Sheffield United 502 ( 1 better than the rest) tee shirt.

I remember my dad buying me the Brian Deane Terminator t-shirt

Great shirts.. the one in my avatar is from a gig I went to in NY turned up and there it was on the merch stand the support band from Mississippi had flipped out crest and put their own band name on it, asked drummer why he said he had no idea it was the singer who was an Arsenal fan, (still makes no sense)

I had one of Bertie Blade stood with his foot on the neck of a pig in a Wednesday shirt with their kop in the background. Can't for the life of me remember what it said on the bubble coming out of Berties mouth .

I remember a 'bladesmen play on grass' t shirt that was a nod to doobies that made me snigger as a 14 year old in the 80's.

did it have a picture of sam fox on one arm linda lusardie on the other or was that a different one

I had the Deane terminator one and also had a white jumper after we beat the penalty dodgers 2 nil at The Lane, I think it said something along the lines of a "Sunday pig roast " i wore it to school with pride ! UTB

My friend ,who is sadly no longer with us ,used to have his stall on the corner of Bramall Lane/John Street selling all this unofficial stuff....Hats,scarfs t shirts all your badges was his favourite shout

RIP Keith
It was more "hats, scarves, tshirts and AAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL your badges".

Stuck with me that one.

Had 2 in the late 80's early 90's...Bertie Blade with a few pints saying something along the lines of 'Bladesmen they can sup em' and another on the beach saying something like 'Bladesmen they can pull 'em'

Great thread. I love merch like this. That Bertie Blade one sounds class. I've been thinking of bringing Bertie Blade back to life in the form of a T-Shirt recently. Has anyone got any pics of the 'Blademen they can sup 'em' one?

I'm sure he used to stand on the Shoreham St/John St corner, too. As a kid I thought he used to say "Hat's scarves, t-shirts and harley badges"...

i also had a t shirt with greasy chip butty words and pictures on the back were it also said maggot s insted of magnet carnt rememember what was on the front
I have the Sunday Pig roast Tshirt from the 2-0 in 1992 (i think)
front - sunday pig roast etc
back - GCB lyrics with Maggots as you say.

Also had a Vinnie Jones one, think it said Sheffields Hard Man
And the best one (although not blades related) Fat Gazza with 'a mars a day makes you too fat to play" on the back.

A very youthful (and sunburnt) DBGoH Tenerife circa 1987 with what I believe may be the first shirt you mentioned.

I think I had a flying Fjortoft one as a kid or have I imagined That?

I think there was one which was printed:

Ohhhhh we all hate Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds... ( continuing to be printed for the whole shirt )

There could well be some kicking about in the loft, best place for them.
I do remember taking the "Blades on Tour" tee shirt away with me that year too, the one with all the fixtures on the back.
