If Wendy had signed him, you can't bet your bottom dollar the intrepid twosome (the bearded twits) who do their rag articles in the Stir, would be getting their blue and white readers together for a circle wank, whilst writing more utter drivel like 'Wendies get spirit of Carlos back, with Wendies dreaming of the PL'.

It's would be like talking to primary class school children trying to have a chat about football with those silly bacon boys who the Stir employ. I bet they still believe in Father Christmas whilst wearing their 'Carlos had a dream' pyjamas, on Xmas Eve.

They really do get giddy over bugger all. Whereas a lot of Unitedites would complain about having to drive over to pick up tbe cheque from Camelot if they had won big on the Lottery. Same city, different breed.

Good signing & if he’s half as good as his dad was, we’ve got a reight player on the books.
Sounds like a good lad in the interview & wish him good luck and plenty of goals in his time with us.

Good signing on a free, gives us competition with Moore and as a wide forward on the right wing. Hoping Wilder can work his magic like he did when we picked up Didzy during our first promotion season to the Prem.

Seems like a nice lad and well spoken. Somehow expected him to have a cockney accent though! Was his dad from the midlands originally before Arsenal? Started at West Brom maybe?

Definitely seems worth a go on a free. Good attributes if he can get his head in a good place. Brings us something different to what we have. All good. Welcome TC!

It says he is from Cheadle Hulme on Wiki. Born when his dad was at Everton, so was obviously living there rather than Liverpool.

I'm sure his old man will have been a massive influence in his life.
One of football's good guys.

He'll need to be made to feel at home very quickly, as I'm sure he'll still be suffering a bit personally.
Hopefully our fans can get behind him in a way the Stoke lot clearly weren't doing towards the end. He's here for 3 years and at 24, we should be getting his better years.

A very creative, talented player, few injury issues, on a free... Where have we seen that before?
If he can give us even half of what Didz did he'll be a real coup.

Was talking to a Stoke fan about him yesterday.
Says he's a confidence player. If his heads in right place he's absolutely quality. But if his head goes down its like he's just not bothered.
Let's hope Wilder keeps him focused on the quality side of his attributes.

Wilder also said he's got work to do to get to fitness levels after training on his own but yeah obviously he wouldn't have been expected to play even if fully fit yesterday

Yeh Wilder said he's been training in the gym keeping fit but hasn't had a pre-season playing matches.

Think Wilder said it'll be 2 or 3 weeks before he's up to speed able to start.
So he'll be sub in our early matches and gradually given more game time to build up in game fitness.....he'll be a sub against QPR.

My first time seeing Kevin Campbell play and he tore us apart, fantastic player…

My first football matches were at Nottingham Forest around 97/98.

Too young to really remember much, other than Kevin Campbell & Pierre Van Hooijdonk were the superstars up front and joining in with the endless renditions of "super Kevin Campbell."
Pretty sure that pair were one of the best forward lines the division has seen.

Just seen some lovely stuff the club have done for Campbell. His Dad's funeral was on Wednesday. Won't share it as the club or Tyrese may choose to show something, but good to see the club gather round one of our new family members

He had some fun against the other lot too:

His first is fantastic. Merson's goal aint too shabby either.

Crikey - I see now why Warhurst was moved to an attacking position, he was a liability at the back along with King and Pob Palmer … Bandylegs Woods was the England keeper too?

Reyt fuck up by the Brentford defense, but well taken by us.

He played nearly a third of the game. These stats are awful! But it does make me wonder if it's our tactics that are shocking and we're incapable of creating chances for our strikers as Brewsters stats are consistently similar.
