Been to Middlesbrough on business a few times. What a dump, worse than Sunderland. You would never guess they are a Boro fan on the wind up.

Classic Liverpool, they are likely to earn in excess of £200m from the Champions League alone this season, they have messed up and let the likes of Sala run down their contracts and now are messing with a young players career. He is not playing for them and they won't loan him out. How is that good for his development?
The only place I ever had my car broken into.Been to Middlesbrough on business a few times. What a dump, worse than Sunderland.

SaltburnWorked in Redcar (they call it Redca), which is just outside Middlesboro, about 15 years back.
It's a bit of a seaside place (beach and amusement arcade) but makes Blackpool look posh.
My main memory of the place is almost every shop has the work "pound" or "99p" in it.
So there's loads of Poundland, pound stretcher, home bargains, 99p shop. Also loads of book keepers/ gambling places
There most upmarket shop is probably Greggs
and regards the locals, nearly everyone wears tracksuits and trainers, plenty of young girls wearing track suits pushing babies in prams.
Stayed in a bed and breakfast in Saltburn, down the coast and that was actually a nice place.
Also stayed at Yarm and that also a really nice place (quite upmarket), so there are some decent places outside Middlesboro.
Went to Darlington in 1982 what a lovely place very friendly.Went to Darlo year last September - oh dear , oh dear , oh dear ...

Definitely recommend Yarm. I was also working in Middlesbrough a few years ago and stayed in Yarm. i suppose that is why Middlesb was renamed.Worked in Redcar (they call it Redca), which is just outside Middlesboro, about 15 years back.

Centre of sheffield will take some beating for being a dump At the minute!Been to Middlesbrough on business a few times. What a dump, worse than Sunderland.
Yarm, Great Ayton and Stokesley are all lovely places close to Middlesborough and very handy for walks on the North Yorkshire Moors.Yarm, sounds like something you’d wat to put a poultice on.
I used to visit darlo to audit. When I heard the students at teeside uni got the train there for nights out as it’s better than Middlesbrough I decided never to visit MiddlesbroughWent to Darlo year last September - oh dear , oh dear , oh dear ...
Couldn’t agree more, I’m not sure where the boro thing has come from. Can we stop talking about Btec Teeside shitholes and focus on the task in hand please![]()
Liverpool have said they want sell not loan and thankfully that seems to be ringing a very large Brewster shaped bell for us and we’re wisely ducking out. Can't we just, you know, ask Liverpool?
