Find it hysterical that the same people saying he was the worst player in the history of football now want to sign him permanently

He should never have started looking back, he was a young lad in a team with no direction. He hid, and didn’t look up to it. Wilder has played a master stroke behind the scenes and took him out of the firing line.

I’m not a massive fan of Wilder on some aspects, but the way he manages some players is his best skill.

Agree…this thread just shows how reactionary many fans are.

He’s played well for 1.5 games….and some are raving about him.
I thought the consensus was after just 2 games….he was too slow and too weak…basically crap and not Championship standard.

Now about 2 games later…he’s the best thing since sliced bread.
Same with McGuuness….apparently he’s crap but was great against Stoke for 1 half….then he’s gone back to being crap again.

Also find it funny how some fans think it’s so easy to sign/ buy players or sell players.

The penny doesn’t seem to have dropped that if we fail to gain promotion this season…then we need to make almost £30 million per season savings
And salaries need to be cut….basically we won’t have finances to compete….and don’t blame the owners….blame the FFP rules.

So Wilder may well want Bindon…..but the owners might say we need to bring in £30 to £40 milion in sales before we make an offer for Bindon.
Also what if Forest want at least £10 million? What if the player wants £20K a week making him one of our top earners?

Saying all that…..agree he looks a cultured defender with good potential.
Still say he seems a bit lightweight and slow-ish, maybe too nice too but no doubt as he gets older and more experienced he’ll improve.
If the deal is right then I would try to sign him too….but he’s a low-ish priority so wouldn’t over stretch ourselves for him.
Yes it's almost as if this is a forum with hundreds of people with different opinions

Master stroke 😂

He’s playing him because he has no other choice

If McGuiness didn’t get injured bindon would have gone back to forest without kicking another ball

Last season Burrows looked to have star player potential, season before that Ben Brereton Diaz looked to have it.

Consistency seems to be inconsistent.

It is a manager and coaches job to improve players and also to put together a team and tactics that suit the players they have. How do we view Wilder and his teams ability to do these. Which player past and present has Wilder improved and how in the past have we fitted the style to the players. For one on this second point I would say Billy Sharpe For the first I am starting to see Seriki, he is actually get better as defender and better at holding his position.

Bash, Coutts and JOC, you could add to that
