I think providing it is a short contract and he's not asking for daft money, then I could get behind this.

Like others have mentioned he's never been a player that relies on his pace, he's very technical and composed on the ball and if he's fit, I think he could have a field day in League 1.

Let's hope he's a Glen Little rather than a Barry Robson.

Another reason to 'confirm' it will be him is that he's the sort of clever, skillful type of winger who can operate in tight areas playing in a narrow midfield, which is how Wilder seems to want to play with the wingers. Duffy fits this profile and so does Ricky Holmes who we wanted to sign.

Oh FFS, first Duffy, then Chapman, now (maybe) this Burke fellow....3 wingers, all sporting silly blonde pompadours on their bonnets. Combined with our new unreadable shirt numbers, good luck spotting who is who from these 3 after a few flagons of ale

Wouldn't mind having Burke to be honest, always thought he looked a player...

However, Wouldn't be too fussed if we missed out tho as I would quite like to see brooks given some game time. Think he's looked decent when I've seen him.

Saw Brooks again tonite,he is a deffo prospect has some tricks too, reminds me of that lad who Peterboro had on loan from Spam last season.

Must admit, Wilder and Knill's scouting system seems to have it's finger on the pulse of who's available. I reckon Chris and Alan have a decent view of what they need and who will fit into their system. It's early days I know, and I don't want to write words that come back to haunt me, but we seem to be signing better quality in most (every?) positions, long may it continue, UTB

Not only that Wilder has a swipe at Messrs Clough and Wilson, says he's taken ownership of the transfers and hasn't demanded players "at any cost" of course a cynic would suggest there's no money available ;-)

Didn't Burke have a very good game in the cup when we played Birmingham?

Remember it well, was my 40th Birthday, I was supposed to be in Madrid watching Real but my son was only just out of intensive care so we went to watch United instead.....Chris Burke ruined my birthday.....bastard.

OMFG!
That was the day your shit turned unlucky too, Torrers
A sad day, indeed :(

Martin samuelson I think.

He looked brilliant when they played on TV in he cup. Think he's on loan in the champ - now but looks to have a huge future in the game.

Liked what I've seen from brooks tho. Could maybe force his way into the side this year, especially as we failed to sign a winger on deadline day.

Would be a good on a one year deal.

If he wants a longer contract I hope we refuse to sign him. Too much of a gamble to give him a longer deal, on undoubtedly good money.

is it possible, we have one or more of these on the transfer board?

“We’ll be speaking with Reece today,” Wilder said. “He’s done well, impressed us, and I’ve spoken before about the importance of having competition for places through the team. I’m not going to be sticking a gun to anybody’s head. But, like I say, he’s done well and so we’ll sit down and talk about something.”

“Cameron is still here with us and he’ll play in a game today,” Wilder, the United manager, added. “We’ll probably reach a decision on him at some point after that. We’ll see what happens there. Players can find themselves without a club for all sorts of reasons. They’ve both been given opportunities here and it’s a chance for one, potentially for both, to put their careers back on track.”

Reece Brown confirmed, not a signing that excites me but In Wilder we trust

Short term deal 'til January, won't be on big money and we now have back-up for Freeman.

'Shrewd' is the correct term here.

I wouldn't expect Stewart to sign only until January, one year contract more likely.

With these two signing it's going to be difficult to select the matchday 18. I'd expect Stewart to always be in the squad. Who's going to drop out?

i recon it might be chapman he's made more appearances in the u23's than he has in the senior team and when he's on the bench he's rarely used anyway
