I'm sure Adkins didn't want or mean to fail with us like he did. I had high hopes for him and thought he would be an excellent appointment. Things went badly wrong and he can take his share of the blame for it. No need to give him anything other than a polite acknowledgement now though.

Adkins is a good guy, probably the footballing equivalent to Jeremy Corbyn.

I don't hold any grudge against Adkins, he came and he tried but like several before him just wasn't up to the job. He didn't fail deliberately and football has a habit of shitting all over good reputations when circumstances are difficult.

We have moved on, as has he. Fair play to him for the tweet but I suspect he will get a bucket load of abuse for it.

I don't hold a grudge against any of our previous league 1 managers. With the state this club was in it was always going to take something special to get us where we are today and that something special is Chris Wilder. Besides, if the previous lot hadn't done what they did we might not have ended up with Wilder at all. Strange how things work out but maybe sometimes it's all for the best

I hope so
Got tix for Bratfud and your home town.
I have 2 Super Draw. Original Blades Revival from 1981  so hoping I can get 2 tix for me and Ken Jnr for MK on 12 before they go general.
Ken Jnr booked trip to Bali with his g/f so me and Mrs Ken on BLUT for Ches. kop, south and Westfield sold out for that
Party on
Be good to see you at MK if you're back in Blighty for that :)
I'm on BLUT Corner for Chesterfield, taking the girlfriends Brother in law and two lads (both liverpool fans) so it should be great. Hopefully see you there or down MK

Absolutely. As tough as the five seasons prior to this one were sometimes I honestly wouldn't change anything because we now have an absolute gem of a manager who will not rest until we are back where we should be. His post match interview said it all, he was choking back the tears throughout. It means the world to him, as it does to us.

The previous 5 seasons were tough but there's absolutely no point in looking back at them with anything but fondness (strangely), because they've gone and it was going through them which got us to the position we're in today, and they've got us to appreciate the significance of today. We are in a much stronger position with this manager at the helm than we would've been if any of our previous managers had got us promoted, that's for sure.
