Spending 85 trillion pounds or whatever he has done and yet turned our beloved club into an authentic pub league outfit - that is a damn good effort.

It has been done a hundred times previous, but it does stay very relevant whilever he owns us.....

What's done is done, but it's now about what happens next - is KM going to mope around thinking what could have been ? or is he going to roll up his sleeves, apply a bit of forward thinking and get us out of the crapper !!

"Look at me! Same shit, different day!"

What a surprise. As shocking and novel as the sun rising. What next, I wonder?

"Monty has never scored, and if you say different you are a clapper and symptomatic of all that is wrong in the world, never mind just at United, and if you dare to disagree with Mic then you deserve shooting in the face, but not by Monty, because he is the AntiChrist, and it's all YOUR fault, even famine and wars, and you are to blame for everything, ever!"

Or, in alternative reality, Mic doesn't post the same old bollocks slightly reworded.

Hey mic! How about some constructive criticism.

You're happy with Danny Wilson, but not happy with where we've ended up this season, how long before you turn on Danny like you've done on every single other manager from Blackwell onwards... You're always the first to criticise yet offer little opinion of value beyond that....

If you're happy with Danny then perhaps you're actually happy with McCabe...go on admit it.

The sound you can here is the sound of Mic's logic circuits blowing up.

A stupid post ........................................................................................ Everyone knows he has spent hardly anything, loans yes, at high interest yes, will he still be mega rich when he sells SUFC ? of course he will.

btw he has turned us into a pub team

No he's not. He's turned us into a middling third division side, that's true, but we are still a long way from being what some think we are. Now, given our luck and the judgement of those who control the purse strings further relagations are not beyond the realms of probability, but we're not that shit yet, despite seven hundred separate threads trying to convince us otherwise.

Wrong yet again Swiss. All I ask for now given that we have completely missed the boat in terms of being a meaningful football club is a bit of entertainment and a few goals. Danny has made me more than happy and I think he'll do the same next term in a sense of making it enjoyable to visit BDTBL every other week. We wont score as many and we wont get 90 points but if I am watching 11 properly organised, motivated footballers trying to pass it to eachother then it'll do me.

And I'm always right about the managers by the way Swiss my old!

Eh? The loans were converted into equity I believe.

I blame property speculators for alot of the problems we face but you have gone way OTT.

1998 - Man City relegated to league 1.

2012 - Man City win the premier league.

when it comes to professional football, whenever you miss a boat a new one turns up in august.

Looks like someone is bored in June. Still a week on Monday we can read whinges about how unfair the fixture list is.

So, when do the wealthy Arabs turn up at Bramall Lane?

No he's not. He's turned us into a middling third division side, that's true,.

middling , with 90 points , in 8 seasons out of 10 wed have been champions with that total

lets not forget other clubs have fallen further with admin tagged on

and that wednesday finished 15th in their first season down here

So what are you moaning about here then? You're praising McCabe for bringing in Danny as he's provided you with goals and entertainment

About the managers - clearly you're not right because you've backed every single sacking since Blackwell, this is inspite of managers getting results. You contradict yourself massively as you are criticising the man who has backed the expenditure which has got us down the leagues.

In many ways you're now applauding the mediocre level which we are now at as long as you are entertained... we can entertain when we're back in the championship. We need promotion.

Who knows where we would have been without McCabe, we could have been European Champions or we could have been deeper in the mire. He has put money in, and you cannot blame him for covering his backside by making sure he has got his money covered... He has made mistakes with managers and Chief Executives that he has chosen... perhaps to many mistakes but who doesnt make mistakes... Trouble is we cannot look at this objectly, United are our passion, so we want to see them at the top of the tree, most of us if not all of us on this site, have not got the money to be able to take over the club and run it better, but would we have run it better.... It is a question that cannot be answered, because we would make different decisions, but there are external circunstances we cannot control. In McCabes tenure The Tevez affair, and the Ched affair is something he could not control, and getting 90 points in a season and not getting automatic promotion is something outside his control. Do we know whether he has tried to sell the club, but cooled off when he thought any perspective buyers where not right in the long term. Do we know whether if he had sold, then we would have been better off....
I think that he has done his best for the club, he has made mistakes and forces have conspired against him on occaisions, and I beleive we have been better off with him than we would have been without him.

Stands back waiting for the flame throwers to start:eek:

I think I agree....
If he had sold then we could of got wealthy Arabs throwing squillions at us or we could of got Venky's.

We have had both good and bad times under him plus Tevez saga,Cheds plight, a Financial downturn which affects all his holdings as well as just Utd.

We might not be where we once were, we might not be in the best shape but look at other clubs and I would rather be us with him than a lot of other teams with what they have

You mean the ONE single sacking since Blackwell?

I'm sure there are some out there who still think Mickey Adams shouldn't have been sacked but I suggest they are probably members of his immediate family (but only the none Blades supporting ones).

I've heard this weeks guest publication on 'Have I got news for you' is 'The Repetitive Thread' magazine.

And we all know that Wendy will get the first game of the season at home as well as the last and they will also be at home on boxing day.

Maybe Vernon Grant does the fixtures, eh?
