Getting those 4 in by mid July would be spot on, and I see that being the aim. The bulk of our signings would be in well before the start of the season.

Also suggests Hoban and EEL are the two CB targets, if that's the case I'd have to wonder who Wilder's got in mind to play in the middle of the 3? EEL would be a nightmare in that position in the Championship. We surely need a bit of experience there, which is why I think Stearman might be a priority - although wages might make that difficult.

They are struggling due to FFP rules. Reason they got Rhodes on loan initially was to stay within the rules and £8m of this seasons budget has gone on him. Doesn't help when they have some big earners that they can't even give away (McGugan).

It 'll be interesting to see what their attendances will be like. A lot piggies have got too big for their boots and aren't happy that another £20m hasn't been spent this summer.

Seems a fair few think they will do well this season, I think they will be bang average and struggle compared to the last two seasons, think Carlos will be a managerial head to roll this year, might be massively wrong but hopefully not.

I just wonder if the Carlos Magic is not like it was when he first put them under his spell, it is make or break and a few bad result including if we do them over at there place will put pressure on him from the fans and the Tuna king, I personally can see him folding and not sure who they would get to replace him either, last year they did play well as much as it pains me to say it, but much of the time it was not a collective effort, and you need all part pushing the same direction I just don't see that looking at them, for all his dreams I think Carlos's time is coming to an end, happy to be quoted if I am way off and they do the auto's but just cant see it.

Just weighing in with a thought here. A football club owner could in theory have one of his other organisations sponser said club to the tune of x amount. I imagine that would be a loophole that they could navigate and still fall within the rules.

I was under the understanding that, while owners can sponsor their own clubs, there is a limit to how much they can pay. There are authorities that deem whether a deal is reasonable or not.

Also, my initial reply to ranmoor blade was regarding SWFC, who already sponsor themselves. I was hoping for him to reveal ways to circumvent the rules besides that.
