They won't get £6.5m for him. That's their initial asking price. You don't sell a house and ask for what you will accept as a minimum do you? You ask for more knowing that you will.probably have to come down in price to clinch the sale.

I have seen other fans ask Nixon about but he doesn’t mention in any of them that there is a bid in. If true that we have a close to 4m bid in I doubt it’s for Marriott myself.

Given whatever the apparent financial restraints seem to be, I'd personally see McGoldrick & Gregory as an upgrade on Evans & Donaldson.

McGoldrick and Gregory are obviously a HUGE upgrade on Ched and Lavery. Anyone who argues otherwise possibly needs locking up for their own safety. Doesn't mean they're the players we need though.

I'd love to think we've enquired about him. Scored goals at this level, good age, bags of pace.

He's clearly not going to cut it for Burnley in the Prem, so I'd be surprised if they weren't looking to loan him out, & wages shouldn't be too high. Would be a great addition.
