There was one instance where he went alongside their defender trying to win the ball. A slight shove and Cannon peeled away without a fight .

I’m not a big fan of his but now that the window is shut, we need to just get behind every one of them. We have enough good players still to make something of this season if we can get the right siege mentality type approach.
Bamford, Campbell and Cannon are all struggling for different reasons but it was noticeable how much of a boost in confidence Bamford got from his goal. Let’s hope they can all find some form… we desperately need them to.

I wonder if that is what we agreed to Leicester. I mean, I can’t imagine any of the +3m is near being realised. He’s scored minimally and we’re in the same division.

I don’t think the 5m + is that bad. We could probably finesse the + aspect to be more performance related if we think he might score there rather than being completely reliant on then going up.

What will really grate my gears is if we end up in a situation where he has a year left again. I just hope he can keep scoring, even if it is penalties and goals in the league cup. At least it will help to retain his value.

Do we really think Nixon knows this detail?

As much as I have stuck up for Cannon's potential, he's struggled, so turning down £5m+ would be certifiably mad. I don't believe it happened tbh. Wilder knows (99%) fans would want him sold as well.
