He's not 'shit'. He's fit, he's fast, he's skillful and has a powerful shot. His problems has been linking up with teammates and of course scoring. Perhaps it will work out better for him at another club, as he's become a bit of a scapegoat for our fans. I still think he will start scoring at some point, at SUFC or elsewhere. I'd certainly take 4 million if it can be re-invested in the squad, but I still think there's a chance he will come good if he can form an understanding with eg Bamford. Wishing him the best of luck if he does leave.

He also doesn't appear to be a very intelligent footballer, from watching him at home. That may change under the new coaching team if they can manage to engage with him in a manner that works for him.

I think though that ultimately he's a striker who plays better in a two, which is why the we saw the best of him in that short spell when he was playing more regularly alongside Bamford last season. On that basis I think today's formation looks likely to suit him.
