Yeah another professional footballer who can't do what they are very well paid for, give us 90 minutes soild game time
Might not be able to do 90 minutes, but those 60-70 minutes when he played he rarely put in a bad performance.

If we did pay the dreaded £10m, we would need to sell him fro £6.5m to get a small profit. That will not happen, especially as Preston have only just broken their transfer record for Alfie Devine and that was £6m
Some sources say we paid a basic 7 and he's fulfilled no add-ons , so we need to accept 3 and get rid

No ones going to pay a fee for him.they will want him on a loan to buy for practically nothing
They aren't no, but even if it frees up wages to pay for a striker on loan. Its short term thinking I know, but while those chances tried to take Femi on loan (or for less than £1m) he's our starting right back. Cannon should really be our 4th choice striker. Anyone we seel now we'd like the money up front to replace them long term, but Cannon offers that little for me I'd happily lose him just to free up some wages this Summer.

Is there a limit on the amount of loans you can have in the Championship ?
Because we have one already, we need two CB, a Hamer replacement, left winger possibly a left back and a midfielder and maybe a Striker if Cannon goes.
You can have as many loans as you like, but you can have only have five in your match day squad. We had six two years ago, so unless one of them was injured, someone had to miss out.

Unless you have evidence that he didn't, people are going to trust the prevailing data.

£ 13 million according to this LCFC fan.

LCFC has reportedly accepted 13 million GBP Sheffield United bid for Tom Cannon; discussions with the player now to take place.

Of course we could do a Wendy and round up to £15 million, cash in a suitcase.

Do these figures now become prevailing data, they exist on the internet so they must be true?.

Are we getting all that lot for monopoly money ?
We are skint.

If this season goes pear shaped early, you may get your wish in a few months.

Not expecting that personally but unless we suddenly find some gems before the end of the month, I'm only expecting lower midtable with largely turgid fare.
Wilder is on a hiding to nothing

If things start to go even remotely poorly he will either be hounded out or sacked . The patience / credibility line with so many stakeholders is fragile and the tipping point isnt far off

To go easy on the lad he needs to play in a two up top to look owt like (which we don’t play much)

They’re have been glimpses but he doesn’t seem to be on the same wavelength as the other players on the pitch.
He isnt on the same wavelength as anyone I’ve ever seen play football

We’ve never played to Cannon’s strengths which is a shame as he is a finisher. We then signed another finisher in Ings and did the same with him (the scouts need sacking). The danger is though that we become a team full of loans and that strategy was partly what saw us relegated to L1 under Mickey Adams.

He's had enough chances. Some might say two too many.

His legacy should have been 2016-20. What a way to go out.
The risk for him was always that it would be tarnished, but he couldn't let go.

And here we are.

He has a good shot, but not the football intelligence you need to be a consistent poacher. Just doesn't have that "right place, right time" that players like Sharp instinctively have.

Well, he will get 5min here every few weeks then. His touch won't get any better, he'll run the ball out of play, and his positioning will stay the same.
Then next season after another successful loan we can repeat the whole thing again and still claim he's not ready, despite never actually giving him a chance.

I dont particularly class 7 starts in League one as that successful. Im not judging him on his age or how many oppertunities or loans he'll need..
I'm judging him on his ability. He's not good enough yet. Having him start twice here all season will just delay his growth by another season.

It will, which is why we need to give him proper game time, not just dribs and drabs.

Dump Cannon, give One his minutes, if he looks miles off it by the end of the window, get some old crock on a free as backup to Bamford and Campbell.
