Sorry this is not a rumour thread but would not be at all surprised if Cannon leaves on loan somewhere such as Stoke before the end of the window. I doubt he'll be happy with current squad role and he's just not done it.

I don't see him leaving on loan but I'd expect that there are behind-the-scenes movements to find him a permanent home somewhere else. All we'd want is for someone to take over our remaining obligations to Leicester (c£3-4m).

Stoke have unfortunately got a much better forward in for the season (Mubama). Might have to wait until the end of the season to palm him off on them.

Its also not helping him that hes the sub for when Campbell "gasses out" on 60 mins..
