I’ve highlighted it a few times and no one has provided anything to challenge it, but I don’t think Wilder dod say 2 in for Norwich.
He talked about returnees from injuries and said we’d have 6 more options (counting Souza twice) but I haven’t yet found an interview where he says he’s expecting 2 new signings in. If you have a link please share.

I’d like to think that the majority of our fan base know that when Wilder talks about potential transfers he’s not making any promises.

Just seen that... it hasn't changed my mind.
Original story sounds far more likely. Brad shared the screenshot with a local mate (he's on loan in North East) and then it's got out. This message looks like he's trying to cover his arse.

In an interview with Radio Sheffield he definitely said 2 or 3 new faces and 5 or 6 back from injuries.

Unless someone is announced at 9am it's no new faces for Norwich and probably Swansea as that's on Tuesday.

At least the likes of Peck and Davies have had 2 weeks match rest and getting Moore, Campbell, Seriki and hopefully JRS back eases the pressure a lot.

I think the majority of our fan base knew how thread bear the squad was before all the injuries.

We knew we need signings from mid-Nov onwards and now we are 18 days in to a tef window and as of the time of writing this post we haven’t secured a single signing.

If we go another three games without adding to the squad we are quite simply lengthening our odds on a fantastic chance of automatic promotion.

I could accept it before as there was no opportunity with the window closed but we’ve had 18 days now and to secure not one single signing is poor in my opinion.
