Well i watched him in both games in Sheffield. He was poor at the Lane and even worse at the Sty (took my grandson) , so it's a big no from me.
How did you let your grandson slip from your grasp? 😆

I remember seeing a lad for Charlton look completely anonymous against us in league one even though there was hype about him

He scored a hat trick in the Europea league final last year

Few Bob yes, circa £7m absolutely no chance!

Might be £7m, might be paper talk?
Might be a lot less fee and the balance based on promotion, who knows?

Didn’t we do similar with JRS? Reported £2m loan and £2m based on promotion making it a £4m deal (well that’s what the pigs keep saying)

Could well be but Leicester need to sell for PSR so I would imagine they will wait until the end of the window and unless a decent offer comes in he stays on loan at Stoke. Same for Choudhury going anywhere....

On the face of it and if Chancer is willing/able to splash a few bob, I can see Cannon ending up at the pigs

They are 3 points outside the play offs and have a manager who I would guess is respected by players

There’s a number of clubs interested in Cannon so we’ll see how it pans out.

My guess is that although we’ve registered an interest, we’ve moved on because of BBD
What on earth are you talking about ?

Promotion rivals Sheffield United and Sunderland are looking into a deal for Leicester City striker Tom Cannon - possibly on a loan to buy basis.

Cannon has been scoring for Stoke City but there is a break clause in his deal that runs out on Wednesday.

Blades boss Chris Wilder faces a big call as he is also refusing to give up on a return for striker Oli McBurnie and will need a definitive answer there before the Cannon deadline.

Spanish side Las Palmas blocked an initial approach but Wilder is hoping that they buckle by the end of the window.

Sunderland are also keen on a deal for Cannon as they plan to gamble on a couple of expensive loan-to-buy swoops.

All Nixons rumours can’t be true.
There is no way we would be paying for loans and not be able to include them in the squad.

Cannon, BBD, HC, JRS, Gilchrist leaves no spot for the centre half from Forest for example.

I don’t doubt we’re looking at 4-5 this window but they can’t all be loans, some will be perms but I can’t see us playing Gilchrist and Anel as our centre halves all season.

I must be missing something with Cannon. Seen him a few times and cannot see what the fuss is about. He was absolutely woeful when he played against us , admittedly most of Stokes team were that day.
The guy can take a pen and if it means Moore is nowhere near our penalties ever again then get him in.
Infact i would rather we see what Tony Kenworthy is up to, would rather bring him on if we got a pen than Moore take it.

Hamer will be on our next pen
