We should have considering money we've made from Jebbo and Osula sales
Jebbo - £1.5mil
Osula - £10mil
Bogle - £5mil

Burrows - £3mil?
Moore - £1mil?
Cooper - £3mil?
Berge (sell on) - £800k - £1.6mil

We've probably spent up most of what we've made in sales due to agents fees, signing on fees and wages.

And offset against the loss in revenue after being relegated which is probably why they'll bank the 10m for Opex costs and no more signings unless a player is sold.

Hope so

Other thing is, if this takeover has gone through I would hope they’ve told Wilder that if you need to keep the likes of Hamer and Blaster then not to worry they aren’t for sale? Listening to Wilder, he seems slightly concerned about any bids coming in for them so it’s like all our assets are saleable regardless which is worrying

We’ve apparently turned down £13m for Hamer. What if the bid is increased? What if we don’t have time for his replacement? Do these new owners back Wilder?

We’ll see what happens but probably won’t find out the true story anyway
Clean sheets tomorrow B58

New owners or not, every player has a price. Hopefully like PA make sure we get a good price and if it's Leeds add a 50% being a cunt tax!

The loss of relegation is that revenue goes from £100m to £44m (if I’m correct)

We then get £33mil avg parachute payments making £77m

Leaves a shortfall of £23mil - the majority of this has already been covered by sales

We’ve obviously spent a bit aswell…

If we do sell it will be for our price not the buying clubs without half being made available for squad rebuild (I would imagine)

We also have a much smaller wage bill via paycuts baked into to relegation and all the players who would be on top end championship contracts gone for nothing

The problem is! When prem teams come a knocking players heads are turned and it's difficult then to refuse to sell ( at the right price obviously) premiership football + wages says it all ! Fingers crossed we don't get the knock.Even new owners couldn't really put a block on it! If the player wants to go! At the right price ( as said earlier) obviously.

I agree but we don’t want a scenario that decimates the squad on deadline day.
We’ve been there before with Deane and Fjortoft
well we definetly need a striker in to challenge moore if we continue to play 4231 which i think we will and cannon could be the one and the way were playing i dont think its long before we give somebody a good thumping

Agreed but weve been linked for weeks without apparently yet making a bid. I wouldn't have viewed Sunderland as competition for him a few weeks back but now they are top of the table and have apparently already bid 5m for him they look to be in the driving seat

Didn’t get Toney but got Brewster.

Bit of a sliding doors moment that one…
Agree.....although to be fair there.

If given the choice of a striker ripping it up in the Championship compared to one ripping it up in league 1.....it's a no brainer. Our fans demanded a sign of ambition but every time we spend big regards player signings they don't work out that well.

think thats because were waiting for outgoings could be a good signing this lad but doubt we will go over 5k and think sunderland might but surely wilder has another striker lined up if this falls through

Not sure we will be signing this lad if we are only willing to offer £5k....

Unless we think we are signing John Francis from Emley Town again who I seem to recall cost this amount.

Any rumblings on your end where he might be off?
I'm worried about Sunderland now
Only one about a bid or anything is Sunderland really and that is just because of Percy’s tweet
