My impression on that game, is that he's clearly got ability, but lacks physicality. Sharp and mobile without being quick. If the ball drops to him to shoot I'd back him above any of our attackers, without question

He'll carry on scoring goals, especially now Stoke have a proven decent manager. Shit Stoke might become Steady Stoke. They were good today and for me deserved to win. Should have at least scored. Frustrating that even in a game like this, Burnley manage a clean sheet by default - this habit plus the deep squad makes finishing above them a very tall order

Yeah, I listened to Radio 5 in car yesterday and their reporter from Stockport v Birmingham said he was injured and was now back at Villa (he was going back anyway). Don’t think it’s anything serious

I want him too, but we KNOW BBD fits our style and works well with the squad and staff. He's done it in the Prem with us so the Championship is more than manageable.
Maybe Barry has a higher ceiling but it's a huge gamble, and with Ben being such a ideal slot in, it's probably not worth the risk when we need other positions filling now too.

I persuaded my mum to listen to the SUFC clubcall for me after I saw the clubcall headline on Oracle "Blades sign a star". She told me "they are talking about youth matches" then she didnt catch the name of the player we had signed. I asked her to ring again and ignore the news of the youth matches, just to get the name of the player. She then said "Chris and it was a surname I have not heard of". She called again and then said "Something like CAM A RA". I then realised that we had resigned Chris Kamara! The phonecall had cost more than the free transfer!
