He brought in Hammond, Woolford, sharp and if not Sammon he's certainly utilised him were he could. These players were brought in to improve the "team". If he retains these players for next season, he's going to need some seriously good players in the summer to make at least three of those players look like decent footballers.

This was always a minimum of a two year rebuilding job. The board decided to start the rebuilding a year later, and hoodwink everyone that automatic promotion was ever on the cards. As long as we're starting to look like a good young side, playing good football, (by christmas), I'd give Adkins to the end of his contract. Spend the money on good young players with high resale value - not severance packages! I may delay purchasing my families season tickets until I see what kind of support the manager gets. I'd be happy to pay the considerable extra if we do the right thing for once.

If we have lost 10 million this year as macabe has said ie they put 8 million in and murphy money spent then o nce the out of contract players and those not wanted we should have enough of a wagebill to attract good hungry players but looking at nigels signings theres only sharp worrth a shirt and so he has to go and a better manager found from somewhere utb

I didn't give two shits about the cups quite frankly, not when we're sitting in the third division with a bloated squad list stealing a big wage bill.
Clough inflicted long-term damage which will take a long time to repair, or according to those cretins in boardroom, three transfer windows.

sell in summer: baxter (i know i say hes a good player and still think he is but he's causing a lot of trouble for us), collins, mcnulty (he wont get a place in our team hence his extended loan at portsmouth, same with freeman he got pushed to one side when brayford came back, J wallace, scougall.
