This will be controversial. And it’s based almost entirely on maximising player sale value.

If an offer of anywhere close to £750k comes in for Leon, we should take it and look to move on. His stock is as high as it will ever get.

Same for Sharp. But the fee slightly less. First £500k gets the job done.

BOTH have been quite poor for the most part in our recent bad (ish) run.

Both are not getting any younger. They won’t be on an improvement curve.

Bit harsh on 2 guys who have over 20 goals for us already. But I think it needs freshening up.

And £10m+ for Brooks should allow the gaffer to get 2 or 3 quality longer term replacements through the door.

It’s all about shuffling the pack. We will need to sell first, that much appears obvious.

Add in a couple of the other squad players to go out and Wilder might be quite active this next window.

Have you been drinking petrol?

Top scorer in the championship for 750k?! Do me a lemon. Don't care if he's 32, he's obviously on an upward trend from my position, he's not a pace attacker, so if he stays fit he could be at a high level for a couple of years yet.

We'd be mental to let them go considering our lack of alternatives and our inability to get strikers in in summer.

We need bodies in, not bodies out. We're paper thin.

We need to keep Brooks too. He's our future with Fleck, Lundstram and O'Connell, we need our yoof.

Its real life not Football Manager. Leon and Billy are worth a lot more than £1.25m to United. We have no way of replacing them like for like. Brooks? Who knows but again he' worth more to us than anyone else at the minute. Not sure any of this makes sense

You're seriously suggesting we should let the championship's top scorer go for £750k?
Tell me what it is you've been drinking so I know to avoid it.

So you would cash in on the club/leagues top scorer for 750k? A player who is settled, high on confidence and on the same wave length as his team mates when the club is just 9 pts from the premier league auto spots?

You were certainly right when you said it’s controversial!
Maximising player sell-on value is one thing. Forming a forged team who work well together, who understand each other enough to play to a planned set of tactics successfully is another (thankfully).

Who are we replacing the championships top scorer with? (For 750k - that's if Wilder would actually get all of that money to spend on a replacement which recent threads about finances suggest is not the case)

Mental bastard. Leon was class again today and chased everything down. Chester was class for them but Colonel Zod was shit, in fact if I was a manger I'd ban beardy cunts from my team. Don was class, Sharp did well to win a few fouls and slow play down.

Our defence improved after ten shit minutes although the wing backs gave away far too much.

Lundstram is the new Pirlo though, top lad.

Merry Christmas mother fuckers
