Throwing bottles when we score

We sat on row T, just behind the disabled row. When we scored an old fella in a wheelchair (must have been 90 years of age) got hit straight on the back of the head with a plastic cup and soaked through. Then, as more and more people stood in the gangway next to him, he couldn't even watch the rest of the game. So many clueless idiots.
That’s just bloody awful.
I despair.
Has society become even more ‘fuck You’ since we have emerged from lockdowns instead of more collegiate and neighbourly?

You're either going to get pissed or you're not, all no beer in the stands does is make people drink quicker before the game and get pissed faster
Are you quite happy to get soaked in beer when a goal is scored because I guess there are many that don't including me. Not much fun to be soaked in beer through a match

Hi Stegosaurus here

I think some of our fans need to take lessons in decorem from our blue and white neighbours

I'd rather not, but that isn't why we're not allowed beers in the stand

Used to sit on the KOP, but its absolutely full of pricks now, wouldnt sit on there it it was the last seat in the ground, it's a magnet for wannabe tossers and chavvy bellends.
Yep,that’s why I moved before I ripped some bellend chavs head off and shat down their throat
(Mebbe a bit strong but…..)

The post is about throwing ale and plastic bottles not the supping of the beer .or in other words acting like a twat

Use to be great when it was standing these days it’s the worst part of the ground wouldn’t sit anywhere on the kop if they paid me

Because you can't throw a bottle containing some liquid that isn't beer, jesus. Twats will be twats, pissheads will get pissed, ability to be able to drink in the stands has NOTHING to do with either.

But if they were allowed to drink beer in the stand there would be more people with bottles/plastics cups in their hands when we score, making it more likely they will get thrown. I'm not sure why that is such a difficult concept to grasp.

what after your lot attacked lincoln fans on middlewood road saturday not to mention attacking women and kids every time united go to swillsbro 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷

No doubt the people who throw bottles, light flares etc also complain if SY Police put matches back for safety reasons and to avoid problems. Why is it that so many cannot attend a football match to actually just watch the football? It is a blight on our game.

Well, my research has led me to believe its because "limbs" or "scenes" and being able to post it on the social media so people can respond with "shit club" or "class" depending on what team they support.

Utter dildos.

Don't get me wrong enjoy it lads, but do it respectfully of others.

I'd just say this new young breed of blades and others around the country would have shit their pants in the seventies and eighties .
I don't understand the yoof who would happily maim a fellow blade for a few likes on twatter .

You can’t categorise people like that, it isn’t full of the people you think, there’s bellends in every stand, that’s life unfortunately.

It's funny how the increase in bell end behaviour coincidences with the increase in readily available snorting powder

When I started going to to away games in the early 80s there were plenty of fans acting like twats, snorting speed, shoplifting, chucking beer around, trying to start trouble, smashing things up and generally annoying fellow Blades fans. We've always had a minority, and they have always hung around at the top of the kop on D-E F blocks with our noisiest supporters (apart from a few years on the South Stand H block).

As a long time occupant of the ‘new’ / ‘South’ / ‘Tony Currie’ stand I can confirm the presence of (at least) one “bellend” there-in🤔

I don’t know I remember some of the league one away days being pretty reminiscent of what’s being described here chesterfield and burton in particular.

To echo Numpty's Dusty Ruts. we've sat (stood) at the back of the Kop for pushing 20 years now, and it's only getting worse. Last couple of home games we've been showered in warm lager any time we score. Why buy a bottle of warm, shit beer if all you want to do is throw it!?

And the congestion at the top of the steps is getting stupid now. The stewards at best do fuck all, and more realistically they just laugh and joke with the dickheads that are genuinely putting people in danger. I do not expect to have to shove my way through a crowd to get to my seat. The bloke with the young lad on his shoulders, stood in the middle of the gangway, is possibly the most dangerous example I've seen. I remember the Leeds league cup game...the whole lot went up when Nuddy scored the winnner. Dread to think what could have happened to that kid if he'd been up on someone's shoulders, at the top of a huge flight of concrete steps, on that night :(
