Throwing bottles when we score

Not yet experienced this at home but feel it's only a matter of time. We're on the kop, gangway D, near the back, and this season there's been an increasing number of morons standing on the gangway and the steps the whole game (if anyone reading this is one of them, I don't apologise for calling you a moron). Even seen a bloke with his little kid on his shoulders - just a slight shove and off little kid would be, tumbling down the concrete steps. The stewards response to this is to have a laugh and a chat with the morons. I think we all know that challenging said morons would just result in a whole load of shit for whoever did it. I actually think we need some bobbies in the ground, especially on the kop towards the back. I've sat/stood where my seat is, or very close to, for about 20 years, and always felt fine, but recently it's been more lairy. I don't think the combination of being a twat, and imbibing coke and Carling (some people have no taste), helps!!!

I am on same gangway, there is one idiot who insists on running down the steps getting very agitated, been doing it for a few seasons now. He seems drunk or on something.

I saw that.
It was my little girls first game today (she's 6) and after witnessed that I was on edge the rest of the game.

If one of those hit her I would have (Liam Neeson voice) hunted down and murdered the little scumbag.
That sort of response only gets you in crown court ,trust me

The stairs were full of people standing both first and second half. Don't know why they can't just go to their seat-

I started the game near the back on the stairs, because getting there just in time for kickoff, loads had already congregated blocking me getting to my actual seat. Got fed up of having to balance into a gap every time a constant stream of people decided to go for a piss or a sniff... That and the stewards attention, I found a spare seat in a much better location behind the goal.

Once a few block the stairs it's a snowball effect. I had a problem in reverse in that the train I wanted to catch was at 2.37 and I was going to make my way to the bottom of the stairs so that I could make a quick exit. Seeing the crush I thought I'd have to leave my position a good 5 mins before the end and I'm not too keen on leaving early so I sat it out.

As I see it the the more the stair blockers get away with it, the more they expect to do it but I can understand why the stewards aren't doing anything about it - I wouldn't for the amount they get paid! I seem to remember stewards clearing the stairs in a few places in the not too distant past but I don't remember that happening recently.

Probably same twats what go away! Every away match I go to the morons stand in the gangways and block them why the thick Bastard's don't go to there seats is baffling!

It seem to be a thing at Oakwell ,remember a few years ago people chucking flares and hitting Blades at the front.

How many go to the games these days and barely watch it.

Lad on our row today must have squeezed past me a dozen times during the game.

I nipped for a quick tiddle 10 mins before the end at Hull and it was ridiculous how many were on the concourse chatting and drinking with no interest in seeing the game.

Had the exact same issue. Stood down near the front in some empty seats in the end.

One of football’s wonderful traits is unfortunately also one of its worst - it’s a huge group of people and the only thing they all have in common is they like football.

On the plus side, I’ve met some great people I’d never have know otherwise and we all bond over a common goal (sometimes literally).

Unfortunately, it also includes those who think because they follow a team they can all of a sudden behave like animals and do whatever the fuck they want.

Doncaster away in the dark L1 years was the worst. Boozed and coked up teenagers ragging an entire air con unit the size of several snooker tables off the ceiling.

The worst thing is they’re often singing “don’t take me home,” which is exactly what should be happening to these idiots.

Would it be unreasonable to suggest there anyone throwing bottle should get a mandatory punishment of:
Both front teeth knocked out.
Finger nails removed.
Cattle prod up the anus for the duration of 45 minutes.

Sometimes prevention is better than cure. 😉

I felt like throwing my bottle of Carling. Never tasted anything as shit in all my life.

Although admittedly not at our own fans!

There was loads of youths at half time setting off a smoke bomb and singing about Bannan. Gave them my best unimpressed look from across the concourse, but it didn’t make any difference.

Used to sit on the KOP, but its absolutely full of pricks now, wouldnt sit on there it it was the last seat in the ground, it's a magnet for wannabe tossers and chavvy bellends.

I think the lower half on average is a bit better than the upper half for it. Its quiet mind, but you get the sound from the back which helps

The odd ageing rocker too....😁

I read the thread title and immediately turned it into a song.

🎶Throwing bottles when we score,
That don't bother me at all.🎶

And some people want beer to be legally took into the stands ,spillage idiots the lot of them .

We sat on row T, just behind the disabled row. When we scored an old fella in a wheelchair (must have been 90 years of age) got hit straight on the back of the head with a plastic cup and soaked through. Then, as more and more people stood in the gangway next to him, he couldn't even watch the rest of the game. So many clueless idiots.
