I was going to mention the Steve Wigley goal. We scored another better too in that game, think it wad Colin Morris. Would have gone top with a win but Budgie chucked one in right at tge death. That's how I remember it.........

As far as I’m aware no footage exists of this goal. I also missed it and have never seen it.

I stand to be corrected but I thought this was a seriously foggy game and he scored in the away end. I was at the back of the Kop and has his run weaved towards BL end he almost went out of sight.

The fog was a couple of weeks later in the 0-0 draw re Palace.

Morris chipped the keeper from quite far out on the wing at the Kop end for our second goal. That was also an excellent goal.

We were 3-2 up and Burridge made a bad error for the equaliser, a long range shot from former Wednesday player Lowey. It was coming straight at him and he fumbled it in off his left arm. He also gifted Stoke a goal when we lost 2-1 at home to them a month or so later.

Every clip shown of this goal should be required by law to be accompanied by footage of Cantona’s role in getting Hartfield sent off in the same game, as the two incidents showcase him perfectly.

Of course a week or so after this he went into the crowd at Selhurst Park…
