Blackburn in a completely false position, they have Norwich and a revitalised Sunderland and Middlesbrough coming up.
GD often reveals the longer term truth. As you say, Blackburn look like they are overperforming (although their ability to win rather than draw is to their benefit - if we had won 2 and lost 2 of our 5 draws we'd be a couple of points better off)

At the othe end of the table WBA look like they are better than the record suggests.

And this is borne out by the xG league table - look at how much both WBA and Blackburn are under/over performing - we are right on track...

You clearly don't understand how we do things around here......we could need 1 point from the last 10 games to go up and we would still leave it to the 90th minute of the final day
Not sure that's fair - all of our promotions (albeit there have only been three) in the last 30 years have been secured ahead of the last day of the season.

Only twice have we gone into the last day with a chance of promotion and failed - and on each occasion results elsewhere rendered our result moot.

be alright we will be 18 points. clear with. 6. games to go this season

This is the championship. It’s not like the PL where the big clubs are significantly superior to the clubs at the bottom. Huddersfield are shite by championship standards but still gave us a bit of a game, made us work hard. I do agree that we should be looking to take maximum points but we can’t take anything for granted. We’re starting to get a bit of depth back in the squad, hopefully we’re closer to being able to bring in quality to replace quality, rather than having to use players out of position or inexperienced youth team players, it should help our consistency.

I also think opening up daylight between us and 3rd is important in context of the January transfer window. If we stand more than a good chance of going up in the automatics, it might help us convince one or two to give us another half season, should offers come in. Might being the key word.

You need to ask Santa for a book entitled "How not to over analyse posts on a blades forum which are mere banter" I think Waterstones stock it
