Summat tells me EEL is becoming a fucking legend.

I hope so. Pray we buy the bloke outright in the JTW or wherever.

pommpey

Would love him to sign permanently based on what I have seen so far BUT I am also mindful that he is on loan and playing to prove point to his parent club as well as probably just enjoying the change of scene. It's a different kettle of fish when coming back permanently with higher expectations, as we saw with Brayford.

Lets see how it pans out but I am hopeful that this ends positively for all concerned.

Do we agree with Roslers quote tho?

“I think this is the best Sheffield United team I have seen over the last few years."

Always liked Rosler. Tells it as he sees it. Having just conceded a last minute goal he must have been seething and it would be far easier to say we were lucky or he was robbed.

Think this is starting to look like a proper team. Not sure it's the best but it's still finding its feet so lots of room for improvement.

You have a point Stretch, but then again, when he scored yesterday, he could have jumped in the air and held his fist up, or could have slid across the pitch on his knees, but instead he ran to embrace the crowd, the Blades fans who had followed the team across to the North West and he knew how much that equalizer meant to them, the continuation of the unbeaten run, and a statement that SUFC don't roll over for anyone anymore, we play the real, traditional Blades way, we fight until the final whistle and we never give up.

If CW and AK can keep this team camaraderie, gang mentality, body-on-the-line, team spirit going, then I hope (genuinely) that at the end of the season we can all say.........

Welcome back home "The Battling Blades"

Fucking finally proud of my blades again.

Wouldn't disagree with any of that mate, he looks the business and like he really cares.
We could have an absolute gem and future legend in the making here. Fingers crossed it has a happy ending for us all.

The little intricate bit of play between Chapman and Scougall at the start can't be underestimated. Chapman is one of the few we have who can turn their man and run at the defence. Also, the Scougall of old would've gone down there seeking a free kick in injury time. So many would. A willingness to play on and keep the move alive is encouraging. Playing the right way.
