If any good as come from tonight then it maybe that Wilder saw the improvement of going back to the overlapping cbs that brought him the success and maybe just maybe he might warm to the idea of going back to it more permanently. Weve not seen that in the 2nd half for a long time & Bindon looked fantastic in that role. Shame about all the others and that first half.

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you? No YOU'D like to think so, wouldn't YOU. Bet you've been hiding under your bed for the last 2 weeks when we've won. Actually, you're not on you're own, bet there's been a few MIA on here. You're all back now though aren't you, with your just stained underpants and your WDS, typing in capitals and spluttering all over the screen. Yeah, we've lost at home. So what? It's not like we've never lost at home before. Go and support Real Madrid or Barcelona if it upsets you so much. The lot of you, not just you Hackey.
STOP DRINKING

Pan forward to 40 seconds in, and replace all references to Rockstar with Wilder. That reaction is pretty much exactly me

I think the most concerning thing which is a constant theme for Wilder is a reluctance to change tactics / formation.

That first half was dreadful before the 2nd and 3rd goals. Why did it take till half time and being 3-0 down for him to change formation / personnel??

The first half showed O‘Neil had done his homework and knew how to hurt us. Completely cancelled us out meaning we did sideways passing until they won the ball back and broke away.

I just think Wilder is so often out done tactically and he will take far too long to change things.

My observation was that Bindon changed the game a centre back carrying the threat into the opponents half he dictated everything we did until he took that knock on his foot
He showed technical ability athleticism and physicality and never gave the ball away even with one leg, almost JOC levels of ability
Our two centre backs who started the game abs Robinson before them never run or ran with the ball drawing players to them and creating space even when they had 15/20 yards to carry it forward
Tamganga Mcguiness basic and both awful
i said on Saturday v watford that the mcguiness decision was odd. because it cant be quality bindon arguably our best centre back

The first half performance was very poor; the defence was wide open, and those players who were substituted at half time.
Should be sold or sent back to their clubs if on loan. The midfield was poor as well in the first half.
Second half a bit better. But time and time again, you can see that half the team are not fit.
I made a good choice not to go and watch on Sky Sports. Going against Preston North End on Saturday.
Hope they put on a better show against them.

One last chance for some to impress. Bit late for some though. Not sure what this 11 is going to do....hopefully entertain and win. We'll see!!!
Only the brain dead like the imbecile Wilder 'think' you can entertain with the totally insane 'inverted wingers' oxymoron used by MORONS.
You maintain pointless possession, destroy your attacking threat and weaken your defensive shape.
Particularly when a none wing back like Hoever who seemed to think his position was designed to 'cut inside' to the mass concentration of defenders given all the time in the world to walk back to a defending position by rolling the ball out to defenders around OUR box
RATHER THAN use the space supposedly created on the outside by the inverted wingers sacrificing themselves and all space by kamikazeeing themselves into the mass ranks of defenders.
Half time stats were United 64% possession - and 3-0 down
Literally and metaphorically POINTLESS possession as I said
I would be surprized if LESS THAN NINETY PERCENT of the possession occurred with ALL ELEVEN opposition BEHIND the ball!
The ball may as well be at my feet at home watching for all the threat it overs to the opposition.
That type of insanity ie WILDER is the cause of all our problems, all our failures of the last three disastrous seasons.
The bloke is an arrogant megalomaniacal imbecile with delusions of grandeur reinforced by imbecile fans and an Wendy biased press and other imbeciles happy to support him for an easy life and money.
We are ****** with him in charge.

Just watched back thier first goal last night .. what on earth was Burrows doing he just stopped then started running again arm up in the air claiming offside .. unbeliveable i actually think if he doesnt stop he gets a tackle in. Instead stops watches the goal appeals for offside. Jesus

Burrows has been absolutel dogshit tonight. Lost count of the number of times he’s just passed the ball backwards, Hasn’t run forward once to any effect. Zero attacking intent.
Been like that all season, gets down the wing, screaming for the ball and passes it backwards

He reminded me of vintage Bash

I'm not one to moan or criticise generally but that first half tonight as someone mentioned in this thread, was as bad as I've seen from a United team since that Southend game back in 2016.
Absolutely appalling standards which the players and management (I generally back CW) should be totally ashamed.
One of the more worrying aspects was the tandem of Riedewald and Rothwell who were so anonymous in midfield. Our first choice pairing next season? Jesus Christ!
The second half was marginally better, how could it be worse! But the damage was done and Blackburn had little problem in containing the bit extra effort we put in after half time with the four replacements slightly improving things.
Quite why Brooks wasn't used after HT is a mystery.
Thank fuck I'm missing the last home game on Saturday!
Jairo and old Joe need to consider walking football league next season

At the game in the SS , I was convinced he was offside. Watching back it's a great run and Hoever plays him on
