That second half was as good as we have played for a long time. Someone on another thread mentioned as though it looked like we’ve been playing with the handbrake on, and thats exactly how I’ve seen it too. Which is why its doubly frustrating to see the amount of games we’ve just let slip by because we havent been adventurous enough.

We weren’t particularly bad first half but it was disappointing to see that even in a game of this magnitude we werent taking the game by the scruff of the neck and really ramming home our advantage.

You can understand the odd game where the passes are a bit loose or we’re not moving the ball quick enough but its happened all too often this season. The times where its all clicked, we’ve looked absolutely unplayable, but barring tonight and Middlesbrough it really hasnt happened all that often. Imagine where we’d be if we’d played with that confidence of the second half.
