Is the one we should be aiming for.
We had to many players out today and a manager who really didn't know what tools he had to work with.
If he can even scrape a draw on monday I would take that, but I do expect to lose.
A week in charge and Villa are always on tv so MA should be aware of their threats and our liabilities. I think MA will have the team ready and organised and we will beat Villa.
Onwards and upwards

The Cup should not, in any way, be a priority for the Blades with our current predicament. Sod the Villa game tbh, focus on the League.

I disagree. A good cup run is exactly the kind of thing we need at the moment.

And it's been a while since we had one!

I agree with that. Every league game is way too important. A cup run will give Adams the chance to try out a few things without it damaging us too much if it doesn't work out

cup run = confidence = better league results.

Hammered in a Cup game + Couple of injuries / suspensions = Demoralised squad and knock on effect to the League.

Sorry, but whilst a good Cup run is great to watch and I'll be cheering them on without question against Villa, I would much rather see us focussing 100% on the League.

Have to agree with this. A win against Villa would be great but I think all attention needs to be on the League games and not going into the dropzone.

Success breeds success. The game should be a marker for where we are at as a team. Just give it a go Blades, that's all we can ask

Spot on. I could understand not giving a shit if we were chasing promotion, but we're not, and beating villa will give the squad a massive lift.

Go for it Micky!

How nice would it be to see Houllier squirming and facing the sack too ?

I think Villa might also see this game as an opportunity to change their fortunes, and a confidence booster. In their predicament they need it as much as us.Should be a good game.If we win could be a spring board to better things,if we lose its expected. So we might as well go for it.UTB.
