Hate the pig rag but well done on todays front page headline 'Wilson Pickett' ,like that one.

A couple of things quite striking in some of their photos are....

Not everyone in attendance was a blades fan.

A number of people seem rather jovial to say they were attempting to "save the club", or was it more about attention?

I'm convinced that one of the lads in the photo that was in the papers yesterday was a grunter I used to got to school with.

It did seem akin to a queue in Communist Russia... a lot of people just wandered up for a look and weren't necessarily protesters.

Hmmm... For all the Soviet style queuing, the one thing McCabe isn't about to hand out these days is bread. :)

No, he's in the business of selling those Matryoshka dolls, maximising his profits by selling them individually. The biggest first and subsequently until all he has left is the tiniest core which he'll offer for sale on the basis of its potential for growth.

I know the face of the one that spoke in Look North saying "we dont want Wilson". I have seen him around Dronfield and once he came into the Bridge when the Blades were on Sky in the FA Cup tie at Hull. He came in late and watched the match for a few minutes before going into a different room to play pool. He must be one of those who claim to be big Blade that goes to matches for the social occasion but doesnt really watch football

Ahem! If I may refer to my tweet from Thursday night,

"Off to Bramall Lane tomorrow lunch. Get some chips from Man Fryday and watch the Wilson Picket show (y'all see what I did there?) #sufc #utb"

Not blowing my own trumpet or anything.;)
